Keeping it short and sweet....Is the Inferno 1.5 low resistence atomizer meant to be used with a clear tank? My battery is an Inferno 650 mAH USB. I understand it would not be compatible with the Volcano 510 batts. Correct?

I don't know the exact product, but a 1.5ohm atomizer is unlikely to work on a 510 (slim) battery.

I would probably not suggest going lower than 1.8 ohm on that battery. You should be able to use anything from 1.8 up to 3.0 fairly safely and around 2.2-2.4 should be the sweet spot. Also, atomizers are usually specifically designed for a particular tank. Assuming you have the head from the Inferno kit, you should probably use the atomizers that Volcano recommends for it.
