infinity connections

I'm sorry for all the questions. I read a newbie thread on this forum somewhere asking about this kind of stuff. The infinity may be ordered with a 901 or 510 connection. I'm curious about the 901. I have lots of 510 stuff....and 801 (pen style), and the 808. What am I missing that a 901 would be a choice? What all does a 901 fit with? I thought it was just another pen style connection like the 801's. I just want to make sure I get the most versatile connection with my order. I'm not familiar with all a 901 connects to. Thanks in advance.

Hi Catherine , the 901 is like the 801 ( external threads ) but uses a smaller thread , there are adapters from 901 to every style that I know of ( most versatile connection IMO ) I use a 901 then just adapt to whatever I need ( you will need to jet adapters FYI ! )

I get adapters whenever I see them cheap. I just got a handful today. If you have adapters, you can use more things and nab the sales.

Catherine the 901 is an external thread as Mike mentioned and therefore easier to keep clean and get at. My Buzz has a 901 thread and my Infinity a 510 thread. I wished I would have got it in 901 as well. You have to use adapters for something either way and the 901/808 to ? are smaller than the 510 to ? adapters also.
