Infinity Pro problem

Hi there,

I bought an infinity pro for another kiwi friend (I have a pro vari but the IP was more cost effective). He went from 40 cigs a day to 2 a day after 2 days use!

After a week of use, it is now having problems taking ages to charge and then running out very quickly. Has three sets of batteries from notcigs. One set was on charge all night and lasted 2-3 hours, another set was on charge for 5 hours and lasted 2 puffs, the last set was fully charged and didn't work at all.

Up until now it has been great. batteries are the standard 3.7v, 650MAH (LC14430)

The red light is on before the button is pressed (with a carto on) and the blue light comes on after button is pressed.

Are these just cheap batteries, or could there be something else going on?

I have read the entire recent thread where someone else had a similar problem. We have cleaned out the connections for juice buildup, and tightened the earthing screw but no joy.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Kiwivaper

Sounds like it could either be the batteries or more than likely since it's all 3 sets it could very well be the charger.. How to resolve it tho, someone w/more knowledge will be along to help you out :).. I'm guessing that a multi meter is required at that point.. Hang in there tho, it'll get resolved, great ppl here!

Hey all, thanks for your replies :) Gonna sound like an absolute NOOB, but the problem was actually just a faulty cartomizer haha.

The information on here has been invaluable, however. I have directed my friend to this board as it really is the best e-cig resource on the net :)

The interesting thing is how effective this device has been in helping my friend quit smoking. As I mentioned, he went from 40 cigs a day to 2 a day in 2 days, and now he isn't smoking at all and hates the taste of cigarettes. He and I are both vaping organic Vaperite liquids - he's on the VR4 and I'm on the Kona Cream :)
