I would like to say thank you to the notcigs crew. I just recieved my new blue Ipro and... LOVE IT! I am the proud owner of S/N # 420. Works awesome with boge LR and makes my KBV joose taste even better. Great first and last mod will need to get a BP when the funds are right. Again thank you for making my vaping experience just that much better.

Iken Fusion is all the carto I will vape (if i have 'em)... great flavor, vapor, draw (i hear the 801 adapter can be adjusted for air control for draw +1)... and it takes to a 510 / 901 d/t... its got it all.
I use em in a tank, but for the Ip, and carto choice, that would be it...
I have some boges but have had trouble with them getting soaked in tank... probably user error, other wise they are good too but i stick to Fusions if i have em.

A standard 2.5 - 3 ohm boge is a good bet.
I have 808 connector, do well with v4l coolcarts, a bit over 3 ohms.
When ikenvape reopens, you might try his 801 fusion carto, with a little adapter (i use his gold 901/808 to 801 adapter).

Do you have a multi meter? If you do, check the Ω. Also try another carto.

I use 1.8Ω attys and just got 1.5Ω and I go up to 4.2v and it's a nice vape.

That being said, the 2.5Ω range will give you more flexibility.

For the heck of it i tested the dual coil xl cartos i have and all of them even the new ones tested 2.1 ohms. They are advertised as 1.6, not sure what the deal is unless i did something wrong.

EDIT: my multimeter test leads are showing a .6 resistance when touching eachother. so deducting that from my previous 2.1 reading gets me 1.5 which is close enough. I know the cartos are good now anyways.

So I got my IPro in yesterday and I am very impressed with the craftsmanship. I am using the DC Boge's that I have and they work great. I do want to try some of the higher rated ones from Ikenvape as soon as the site is up again. But overall I'm quite pleased with my purchase. My question is this, when using say a 3.0 ohm catro at 4.2+ vots how does that effec your vape? It it hotter or just more intnese in general? Thanks for all the help folks.

Well, when I say "to some degree", it also depends on your vaping style and consumption. If you're a heavy vaper/chain vaper you may or may not have issues. It also depends on which carto's you use or whether you drip with atty's. What ohm rating your atty's/carto's are versus the voltage you use. There's a number of variable to consider. 5c uses 100% vg and has no issues with his set up. As I mentioned though, VV allows you to fine tune things to work well for you.

I've used everything from 1.5Ω (using right now, came with my DCA and I like it) to 3.5Ω.

This is exactly why you bought a BP/IP. So you can adjust the voltage to the resistance instead of adjusting the ohms to the battery.

Tracy pg/vg % is more of a function of the carto than voltage. If you are using a carto that wicks your vg well now, you should be just fine with your BP.

Not to hijack this thread, but I am wondering how well (or not so?) this will work for a 100% VG vaper??? (ME!) Might have to get some PG and try it again, or some PGA to thin it out then?
You can thin it with distilled water too if you want to keep it a 100% VG mix. Plus what Wharf said. If your carto?atty is working well with it that won't change.

I'm so glad we have such smart men here in the Buzz Army!!! (women too!!! I <3 U all) Ok then, I am a pretty heavy vaper and vape 100% VG (PG gave me headaches and made me cough terrible early on) just fine in my Boge SR and LR cartos so I'm glad I won't have to do any further experimenting than I will with my new toy!!!

For the M1A1 tank.....I have a jig and punch already, but do you think I may need to slot cartos to better accomodate the VG juice? I am a nail tech, so I have a machine like a dremmel at my disposal already, would just need to get something to slot them with. Sorry guys, for all the q's, I just really want to be ready to rock and roll once that pretty purple little puppy is in my hands!!!

Thanks ModRod, Wharf, and 5c for your responses while I was away entertaining company. =)
