I can't post this to the Global Thread (I'm a newbie and only a rare visitor), so I'll post it here, and if anyone feels it is appropriate, feel free to pass it on to over there.
People are supporting the idea of e-cig bans and FDA strangulation because the antismoking lobby has brought a good part of its strength to bear on the vaping community. They will use the same types of lies against you tht they've used for 30 years against smokers, waving innocent children in the air, yelling about the right to breathe clean, vape-free air, and girding themselves up to, at a minimum, profit heavily off taxing Vapers to hell 'n back.
People hear things like "There's deadly antifreeze in that vapor!" and immediately react in the same sort of way they've been trained to react toward tobacco smoke. You need to be able to show them, simply and clearly, that the claims are based on lies. To that end I devoted over twenty pages in my new book, TobakkoNacht -- The Antismoking Endgame, specifically to the War On Vapers, and I have reproduced one of its more powerful arguments, an analysis of the FDA "antifreeze" study that's pulled out to support ecig bans all over the place, on my main website.
