Has anyone figured out which flavorings turn juice pink after steeping, I have 2 different all day vapes that are completely different flavor profiles, both turn pink after steeping, the tobacco base flavor is a lighter pink, the non tobacco based flavor turns a much darker pink, curious to see if this could be used as a recipe cracking aid?

I would sure like to know. I've been trying to clone my ADV for a couple of months and have all the main flavors right with "something" missing or slightly different but I want it exact. My ADV turns peachy pink as it steeps but my clones don't so I'm thinking its the nic and sure won't be able to find out which one the vendor uses.

Pink seems to be from the formation of a "colored complex" (not a reaction) of nic-oxides with other compounds in the liquid. It is as harmless as yellowing is. I have found it most pronounced with vanilla-nic. It does happen with unflavored liquids as well, but not as often. This also includes some highly pure nicotine liquids. Some nic-oxides are yellow-brown on their own, but that color can be sensitive to the chemical environment. Does not take much to push yellow into the red. I personally am not concerned about pink.
