So I when I first bought my 510 I used an atomizer that worked GREAT! Full flavor from all my liquids and everything! So it finally crapped out and now I'm using a new atomizer...IT TASTES TERRIBLE! Tastes like I'm inhaling battery fumes or something! So I tried another atomizer...SAME THING! Then another...SAME TASTE! Switched batteries, started a new cart...same taste. IS this just the initial "break-in" of the atomizer and will it eventually get better?! How long does it take for that taste to go away!? It seriously makes me sick to my stomach. Is there anyway to AVOID that taste all together? I really need some help here guys! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Some people blow out the primer. Others clean first with Everclear. And some drip plain VG onto the atty.

I recently added the VG method to my book of tactics and it actually seems to help. I purchased a 6oz bottle (lifetime supply) of USP Pure Glycerin @ CVS for about $5.00. I had trouble finding it, but the pharmacist took me right to it.

Are you saying the primer is a liquid then?
From what I've read on here the primer is reckoned to be plain PG liquid which helps prevent the atomiser corroding during storage. Over time a metallic taste will tend to leach into it through contact.

I was confused about the word 'primer' initially, I thought it referred to a primer paint or coating on the atomiser that had to be burned off - but its just a liquid.

At times it can taste pretty nasty. Blow on the connector end of the atty (use a paper towel because this will get messy).
Use the empty cart that came on the atty and then drop a few drops on the atty and then puff several times. Don't inhale.
Once you have done this several times, inhale to see if things have improved. If not, and once vapor decreases, repeat.
Once the taste gets livable, put a loaded cart on and vape away.

If you didn't buy liquid, get some PG or VG and use it.
