I have been a pipe/cigar smoker for over 15 years and just tried my first kit. Since I'm not a inhaler, I couldn't decide what level nicotine to get, so I went with 6 mg. All, I can say is wow! I love the flavor, but I got hit between the eyes with a nicotine rush that was easily cooled by a sugary drink. There are plenty of tobaccos on the market that can kick your rear end in the pipe and cigar world. Having said that, it's a great experience. No more having to go outside, no more pipe bowl cleaning and no more babysitting a humidor. I think that 6 mg is going to do me just fine and the horizons are bright, full of tons of juice and mods galore.

Actually since you don't inhale you will likely get MORE nic from vaping. From what I have read it is absorbed by our mouth and nose not our lungs. 
It is great you found your nic level so easily! I know I started with 12 and it was WAY to much for me and I dropped to 6 inside a week. Now I am making the drop to 4. I plan to be vaping zero nic by fall. At that point it is vaping for pleasure not the addiction.

I was a cigar smoker myself. Worked my way down to 6mg and now have no desire to go back up. Down is much more likely.
