Nicotine vs. No Nicotine

As a brief bit of background, I am one who has enjoyed the occasional cigar and perhaps 15 years ago the occasional pipe. However, I have easily gone a year or more without anything. So in other words I have no particular affinity for nicotine. When I have had a cigar/pipe, however, I have enjoyed the experience which is what brings me to the 'e' versions of these things. Not having the cancer scare or the need to go outside makes this form of "smoking" very intriguing.

Towards that end I am wondering about juices that are offered with various levels of nicotine including no nicotine. I am curious if the nicotine serves any purpose outside the need to satisfy the cravings of those coming from the analog habit? In other words, does the presence or absence of it change the taste or volume of vapor?

I have ordered the sample pack from Johnson Creek which comes with a mid-level amount of nicotine. However, in the future when ordering a specific bottle I could just as well get the non-nicotine version. My question is whether that would change the experience at all for someone again that has no particular need for the nicotine?

Thanks.

I can tell you that I have been using no-nic now for 8 months but the urge to vape is no less as the hand to mouth IMO is just as addictive.
So while you will not become addicted to the nicotine, you may find yourself after time addicted to the hand to mouth habit. Many Members here also state that they can not get a good throat hit off of no-nic. Although I have not found that, I just might not be aware of what they are lacking because I am so used to no-nic?

Thanks for much the response. At least you are addicted to something that won't kill you! I think after I get through with the samples I'll start getting the no-nic versions (provided I enjoy the experience in the first place).

Thanks again.
