Hopefulll,,
Showing those needle nose pliers in your how too is a bad idea, a socket from a ratchet set would be a much better way to remove and install the brass part I forget the exact size off the top of my head but this way there is NO CHANCE of buggering up the brass.
This is how I do it. You can do it however you like. The correct method it to use your fingers but make sure it is firm.

Guys, there is no reason to use any tool. And dont use tools on plastic, you will run its threads. There is no reason to put off the plastic. You only unscrew the brass polygonal nut and only if you want to change the o-rings or because you took off the pin by mistake, nothing else. If the plastic comes out WITH the polygonal nut, ok. If not, ok again. Plastic has nothing to do with any work we want to do on the connector.
We also dont use any tool to tight the polygonal nut because we will ruin the threads of the plastic. ONLY BY HAND. We screw by hand, we unscrew by hand.
Good to hear, I hope he decided to keep it, it's too good a mod to return over something like that![]()
New batteries soon that last 10 times longer with luck. Been in development for a few years, maybe soon. Nanowire.
Hope, I am sure that this will happen one day. We cant wait for that day but we also dont need bigger batteries than 18650. The only reason that someone would want to make a mod for bigger batteries than the 18650 is only because he would wanted to fit some extra functions on this mod that cant be done in a thinner mod. But what extra functions we need right now that require a fatter mod?
Agreed, but with luck in a year or 2 we may have 18650's that last 10 days![]()
