Just tried my new HH and after 1 hour my first impressions.

1. 6 drops to start was too much. Flooded!!!
2. After blowing it out and trying again with 4 drops better.

2nd hour it started working much better but not as good as seen in the Avid video. So far I noticed hits to are more harsh and it will take a longer learning curve to figure out how to sqounk to get the right amount of juice. So my conclusion on day 1 is much more work (so far) to get it to perform at it best but again I just got it. If the hassle to maintain the better perfomance continues I say I won't be getting another one. At this point in time I'd been happier with 2 of my regular Ciscos. vaping should be fun not work. This just all be due to the fact I just got it and will keep with it for the rest of the day.

UPDATE

Its been a couple hours now and the HH is much better. Getting great vapor so-so flavor but still harsh when it getting to need more juice as oppose to other attys that let you know with decrease in vapor. Still easy to flood but that just be still part of the learning curve. Squonking was always automatic with me and my REOs but this atty is different....verdict still out.

latest update

Ok...way better. Tons of vapor and harshness is still there but much less than before so be aware there is a breakin period with these and I still don't think Im there yet. Should I ever get to the point of reeeeealy loving this atty I'll remember the PIA it was to get them to that point. Im thinking for $22 bucks they need to break these in then put them up for sale.....did I mention I am the laziest person on the planet!

I've read the cleaning procedure on these. In terms of using vodka, just a vodka soaking? Or can I use it with Vodka and ultrasonic cleaner like i do all other attys? I love my HH .357 by the way....vapor machine. Good flavor...crazy throat hit.

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam

Tho I use your same cleaning method on my regular attys I wouldn't risk using it on the HHs. These seem to be very touchy and I'd clean them the way the video suggest and not in the ultrasonic...just my 2 cents.

I tried the HH357's on my Grand. After 3 days of either very harsh TH and little to no flavor or juice in my mouth, "pop goes the weesle". I flooded it and blew it out from the battery end like the instructions said and then it was just dead in the water. I think I'll just stick with the cisco 306's, the cisco spec 510's, or joye 510's from now on.

That's a bummer - an expensive 3 days! I was thinking about trying one, but I'll just stick to the cartos. I've gotten spoiled by no maintenance or fuss, haven't used an atty in several months.

WOW, that sucks. You would think that 22 buck atty would last longer. For such a trouble prone atty they should at least drop it to regular price. Never understood the price tag and probably never will. Definitely gonna with with my cisco 306's and newly acquired joye 510's.

IDK but better the HH than the REO.

+1 !

Awww, :( I'm sorry about your experience with the HH357 - I have used mine for a week today and it has been like your Day 2 everyday for me (?!) ... lots of vapor and lots of taste. I did overflood mine several times and was able to vape through...

Well I'm not saying I would ever pay it, but I understand the price tag.

They are hand freakin built ..... that shiz aint cheap !!

The guy is not going to go through the trouble if he only makes 5 bucks an hour I suspect :(

I finally built up enough nerve to try to HH357, I ordered 2 along with 2 Cisco LR510's and I decided to use the 510's till they popped. But I broke down and decided to try out the HH and WOW!!!! So much flavor! So much vapor!!! Im in love all over again!

Hope the love last. I was lucky and one was gifted to me. Maybe it was my fault somehow but I don't care. To me not worth the babying. Ive been using atty for over 2 years so there shouldn't be mystery. I wait till Brad gets his special made 510 1.5s in @ $4-5 each. Untill then I use my Cisco regular LRs....I know they last.

Okay I bought (2) long-barrels but cannot get my first one to work. I spent two nights (6-8 hours) trying to get it to replicate all of the various reviews but it just seem to provide thin vapor with moderate flavor or it's flooded and I get a mouthwash of hot e-liquid. I'm using TV Mojito+Pina Colada at 80PG/20VG.
I typically use the Vapage rev. 2 hybrid 2.0Ω BF attys and clean with PGA every two days of use. But these HH 357s leave me light headed from trying to take the require short, hard pulls. I do the initial setup and get the gurgle. I notice the sizzle after taking a few pulls and give it a light squonk. It never seems to ignite. Has anyone else had this same experience? Is there something I missing? I'm definitely someone who reads manuals and follows direction explicitly so what gives with my experience? My couch huffing was driving my wife crazy. I think this may just be more than I want to do coupled with the higher cost. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Brew
