Okay I bought (2) long-barrels but cannot get my first one to work. I spent two nights (6-8 hours) trying to get it to replicate all of the various reviews but it just seem to provide thin vapor with moderate flavor or it's flooded and I get a mouthwash of hot e-liquid. I'm using TV Mojito+Pina Colada at 80PG/20VG.
I typically use the Vapage rev. 2 hybrid 2.0Ω BF attys and clean with PGA every two days of use. But these HH 357s leave me light headed from trying to take the require short, hard pulls. I do the initial setup and get the gurgle. I notice the sizzle after taking a few pulls and give it a light squonk. It never seems to ignite. Has anyone else had this same experience? Is there something I missing? I'm definitely someone who reads manuals and follows direction explicitly so what gives with my experience? My couch huffing was driving my wife crazy. I think this may just be more than I want to do coupled with the higher cost. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Brew

I bought two of the 510 1.5s in silver. They didn't last any longer than a regular ole atty. One blew after two weeks. I tried to clean it really well thinking it was shorted by built up juice. After a alcohol soak of a couple days I put it into an ultrasonic cleaner for three hours. It was just dead.

The other one clogged and gummed up beyond use in a week, pretty much like a reg ole atty.

At first they both hit really well with lots of flavor after I got them broken in and produced huge vapor.

Back to the reg LR 1.5s in bulk. Oh well...

:)

I am so sorry to hear that! I had a problem with the second hh357 I purchased, a Matte Black 1.5 OHM, and it didn't hit like the first one I purchased. I got in touch with AvidVaper and they put me in touch with Hannah, and he asked me to send it back to him for repair. After about a week I had it back, and it was much better. You may want to contact Avidvaper about the issue -- it wouldn't hurt to ask -- and you may be able to save your investment :)

The first HH357 I purchased in August is going strong at 4 months. In fact, if I had to go back to other LR 1.5 attys I think I would cry!

I'm going to try the io6 atty from Ikenvape in the hopes that it will be an alternative to the hh357, just in case! I hope you find yourself a sweet atty soon :)

Well, I'm sad to report that my .357 lasted 6 weeks of heavy daily use and finally passed away yesterday. It was amazing right up to the very end though and I can't wait to get some more. Anybody have any luck with a higher ohm .357 at 5 or 6 volts? I haven't seen a lot regarding anything but the 1.5ohm. Thanks everyone, now I just have to recover from Christmas before I can spend any money on new atties!

Thats too bad, but around 50 cents per day for that awesome performance is worth it IMO.
I'm still using my first two and need to get some more desperately as well :)

Did you rotate it any or was it on the mod full time for 6 weeks ??
Just wondering how and how often you cleaned it.

I'm finding a quick vodka swish for 10 min every 3 days is perfect for mine then right back on.

Like Rhaps said in a different 357 thread, "if it aint broke, don't mess with it. That was mu theory too since it never really seemed to degrade in performance. However, I did clean it once about 2 weeks in by soaking in 91% alcohol overnight and then letting it dry. It worked beautifully after that, but it was already working beautifully. I just read that someone else was cleaning theirs and thought I might as well. I actually flooded it a little right before it died, so I took it off and blew it out gently from the connector end just like the website says. But when I put it back on my Grand, it wouldn't fire any more. I checked and it wasn't the Reo (of course) so I tried it on another couple mods and nothing. I was honestly devastated, almost as bad as the first time I dropped my Grand on asphalt. Oh well, like you said, .50 cents a day ain't bad for that incredible device. I can't wait to get more. They truly are incredible.

So I wanted to follow up my previous post by saying I've now had success in getting this atty to work with the 2nd of the 2 I purchased. Unfortunately I gave my 1st unsuccessful example to a friend who also couldn't get it to light and he tossed it prior to me contacting him to possibly send it back. Lesson learned the hard way I guess.
While I am getting clouds of vapor from the HH 357, I find that I'm not liking the flavor of my typical night time vape as much as I was with the COV hybrid. I typically vape sweet fruit flavors, after I've had my coffee vape with my cup-o-joe, and I think this atty just over-amplified their sweetness. I have since bought two additional and am considering using them with a darker flavor (tobacco-oriented) to use when out having a beer or visiting one of my cigar-aficionado buddies. While I'm not complaining about it's ability to atomize in the least;I am having second thoughts about my choice in e-liquid flavors. Started with DK tobaccos, moved to TV Atomic Cinn, moved to lighter fruit flavors and now possibly coming back full circle to tobacco. I've been reading all the posts about Boba's so I'm thinking I had better get some to decide on a larger purchase before the FDA squashes it all anyway. I'd at least like to have fond memories of all of these wonderful offerings. Feelin' pretty pessimistic at the moment. I've signed every petition that's come up and know I still don't matter. Rotten bastages. Brew

The i06 is a new atty from IKenVape IKV io6 XLR Atomizer 1.5

To clean my hh357, I give it an alcohol bath in 91% alcohol, let it sit for an hour, after the hour I pick it up and drain the alcohol through it about six times, then I dry and blow out any remnant alcohol from the thread end... let it fully dry for about 5 minutes and then it's ready to prime for vaping
