PG/VG are both humectants and dry the throat. Has anybody tried adding a humidifier before or after the atomizer to add extra moisture to the vapor? Or by the side and then mixing the two vapor streams before inhaling?

I think passing the vapor through a humidifier would risk losing a lot of nicotine, but putting a humidifier before the atomizer might work. It could be as simple as bubbling air through hot water with a mesh to break it into small bubbles.

Possible problems:
Condensation build up in the atomizer? Could be solved by heating the atomizer body.
Increased vapor droplet size? I've read all kinds of different values for droplet size. Maybe it only matters for deep inhales. I know that deep inhales are not important, because I don't inhale deeply and I can easily feel the nicotine absorbed through mouth and nose (36mg/ml in 100% PG). I don't think extra moisture would change this, and it might even slow absorption which would be useful for reducing risk of addiction.

If nobody has tried this already I'll probably go ahead and try building something myself.

It could be a problem if you want something cigarette sized, but you can have ridiculously high power if you sacrifice portability.

You should just get a Provari Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator.

Seriously, it is an interesting concept and a tinkerer's dream.
