    Hello folks and welcome back for today's review of the Coolfire Z60 with the new redesigned Zlide tank with top airflow. The Coolfire Z60 has a internal 2500mAh battery with a maximum wattage output of 60watts or voltage output of 7.5 volts and will last you a entire day on 1 charge if using the MTL 0.6Ω DuoPrime mesh coil that is one of the supplied coils in this kit. Also supplied in the kit is a 0.3Ω RDL mesh coil, both of the coils use Kanthal metal. Lets start by getting to know the Coolfire Z60 with the new Zlide tank from Innokin.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

    First I would like to commend Innokin for continuing to look out for our planet by using only paper in the packaging of their products. Opening up both kits that were sent to me the first thing I noticed was the great look of the Z 60 devices, the split two toned appearance of the matt finishes really look good together. Picking up the device really showed just how compact the combo was while feeling strong and of a solid build without being overly heavy.

    I plugged in a charge cord to both devices to top off the battery and found they were 95% full. As I always do with any new atomizer I pulled the coils and disassembled both tanks and gave them a bath in warm soapy water, dried them off and primed and reinstalled the coils. The 0.6Ω MTL coil has a much smaller diameter than the 0.3Ω RDL coil and both have flat spots that have to line up to the flat spots on the tank before fully seating the coil inside the tank.

    On the older Zlide tank the drip tip had to be removed before the top cap would slide open, you no longer have to do that on the newly designed Zlide tank. This kit ships with 3ml straight glass tube pre installed but also includes a 4.5 bubble glass tube for more capacity, I installed the bubble glass on one of the tanks but found that it really didn't look good so I put the straight glass back on forgoing capacity for a better appearance of this combo. Branding is only on one side of the device.

    The new Zlide tank now uses top airflow that is fully adjustable from a very tight MTL vape to a pretty open RDL vape and everywhere in between, there are 2 spots on top with knurling to assist when adjusting the airflow control. The Opening on the sliding top cap is marked with a arrow.

    The shape of the Z 60 contours nicely in the hand for a great fit not being to large or small and depending on your hand size disappears. A 24mm atomizer will have a great fit if purchasing the mod only. Innokin placed a master shut off switch on the very bottom of the device that is recessed, when first opening be sure the switch is in the on position. Innokin mods don't really shut off but go into a sleep mode that requires 3 quick presses of the power button to wake it up or put it to sleep, with this shut off button you know the device is totally powered down.

    There are 3 power modes to choose from being straight wattage, coil+ wattage or coil+ voltage. What coil + does is it pulses the coil a tiny bit after each vape to burn off any residue and primes the coil with more juice, there is a slight buzz heard after each vape. I prefer to use the coil + when vaping this combo. When using coil+ it will display as W + on the display screen and speaking of the display screen you can see in the picture it is bright and vivid with all your information laid out well. I will list the display screen layout from top to bottom below.

    * Lock/Unlock Symbol - ( Red Locked ) - ( Green Unlocked )

    * Battery Bar

    * Wattage Or Voltage

    * Power Mode

    * Time Of Last Vape In Seconds

    * Ohm Load

    * Puff Counter

    * Voltage/Watts

    To get to the information screen and clear the puff counter press and hold the power and up button simultaneously, once there simply toggle over to clear puffs using either adjustment button.

    To enter the menu press and hold both adjustment buttons simultaneously, once there use either adjustment button to move to your selection, once there press the power button to activate it. The Z 60 also has the refresh mode that extends coil life by burning off any baked on liquid using low wattage from the coils, I press and activate it after every tank refill I do and it does work.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

    First I'd like to say that the kits has performed very well using both coils, I did have to drive the 0.6Ω coil to above the recommended wattage range to hit my sweet spot, Innokin says 13 watts is the 0.6Ω coils maximum wattage but I have been running it at 15 watts to hit my sweet spot and it's been fine. Flavor is on point and the airflow is super smooth, using this coil I easily made it through the days of using it on 1 charge.

    Using the 0.3Ω coil I hit my sweet spot at 38watts and it also performs very well, using the 0.3Ω coil gives me close to 5 hours of vape time but because I like the straight glass for looks I do a lot of refills but I don't mind it. The only issue I have is filling with a 100ml bottle because the RDL drip tip is fatter than the MTL drip tip I have to remove it when filling.

    I really like the Coolfire Z60 with the Zlide tank and recommend it to MTL vapers as well to RDL vapors that don't need high wattage, to me 40-50 watts provide a great vape and the 38 watts I'm using it at satisfies me just fine. I would like to thank Nicole and Innokin for providing both of these for my review, and I hope I answered all your questions regarding the Coolfire Z60 Kit.

    THANK YOU
