I got the isub G and don't know what to think. Mind you I am a subohm newbie.

I don't have any leaks, but I don't like the forced "throat hits", I had to somehow attach a different mouthpiece and turn the wattage all the way down to enjoy this.

The thing is extremely loud. It makes noises like you're sitting in front of a campfire. I hear and feel it "exploding" and popping inside...nothing does get in my mouth but this is just odd.

I really only can handle this with wattage all the way down to 10W or 11W and with a mouthpiece, then I could as well have gotten another nautilus Mini.

(So basically what I am doing, I am using this like a normal tank, not a subohm tank, at way lower than recommended wattage, almost no air flow and a mouthpiece)

Positive: MASSIVE vapor and flavor and the airflow regulation is genius.

I guess subohming is just not for me, or maybe I need to get used to this first

Yeah I know! I am using 6mg. It is true that turning the device up to 25W, and NOT using my special mouthpiece is a different experience - but I think it's really a personal thing, I like it more at 12ish Watts, subohming is just too hardcore or I am just not used to it. (I will at a later time try with different liquids).

Even when I just got the tank today, I exchanged the coil for another one from the pack of spares I bought too, the popping is somewhat less but it still pops and zizzles, especially when the device sat for a bit and is cold. (Sometimes it pops and then I see two vapor "spikes" shooting out the holes on the side).

I am aware that right now I am not using the device as intended, eg. with low watts and VERY little airflow, but it sort of works "somewhat ok" this way. One negative is that when I vape this like this and press the button, I first get a couple or so cold hits without any vape, and I need to puff a few times to get actual warm, flavorful vape out. It obviously just isn't designed to vape at, say, 11W. I didn't have the problem with the Nautilus. (Although, to be fair, the Nautilus annoyed me in that the coils very quickly become "stuffed", especially if you vape VG).

Well, MAYBE I am still getting into Subohming, maybe I find a suitable/better liquid, don't know. Right now it's more like "meh", for me personally. I still don't think I wasted the money because it's an "interesting" experience, sort-of.

Edit: I think Innokin should have included an alternative mouthpiece/drip tip especially since it's exchangeable. I had to "mod" one common EGO mouthpiece with some electrical tape so I can fit it in there, don't like that wide "pipe" in my mouth really :)

Edit2: I had to order another Nautilus Mini, the other one I gave to the wife.
One issue I have with the isub is that as mentioned, it first starts out with cold hits and needs several puffs to get flavor....but THEN the vape comes out very hot, it's inconsistent and I don't like hot vapor AND I AM VAPING AT A LOWLY 9W NOW!!

To me it looks like that those subohm devices are designed for BIG airflow (this is evident watching some reviews) where the guys vape 25W with the vents all the way open. Except that I don't like "airy" vaping at all.

Even when I use the isub as intended, say 25W, air holes 1/2 or 3/4 open, when you hit it at first it comes out cooler and almost no flavor but then gets hot and very intensive after a second or so. It's a very inconsistent vaping experience which I don't like. (I also think the Nautilus Mini is more suitable for vapers like me who ALWAYS vape, say working on the PC, whatever..rather than a subohm device which creates monster
, this is why I am going back to the Nautilus Mini. And the Mini is obviously better if you don't do direct lung hits.

I am aware this is an apples <--> pears comparison, I am not saying the isub is bad, it just isn't for me and the way I like to vape.

My isub g is leaking where the coil goes in. Anyone know the size of that o ring? Does anyone no where to by the o rings?
When I was removing the glass cylinder, the o ring on the top came off as the cylinder was coming out... Will it be fine without it or is it going to cause an issue with the seal?
I can't seem to find anyone that sells replacements and don't know the size either.
