Is this a kanger or innokin thread?

Seriously Kanger boys, there are a million threads out there about your gear and Why you need to get in to this one is beyond my understanding.

This thread is about a new innokin tank.

Go and start "Kanger vs. anything" thread, Lord knows there will be no shortage of those.....

Well, it's Innokin so "reasonable" price probably means higher MSRP than every other subohm tank. At least there's enough competition that their cheap looking "me too" tank just may be reasonably priced. Sorry but I'm on the Freemax Starre now. Will not be testing this one.

$18.99 is not reasonable?

I dunno... this thing looks chintzy as hell. And the fact that the coil sticks out of the afc base and acts as the 510 pin gives me pause. Just looks cheap, even the machining. The PC really doesn't bother me, though, other than the jacked up shape that makes the drip tip non removable... The PC might actually be more durable in a work environment so long as you don't use a tank cracking liquid.

Not sure what all of the hate'in is about... if it's not for you, move on!

Innokin is delivering an inexpensive (MSRP $18.99) tank with some interesting new design features.... replaceable atty, without the need to empty tank, or more accurately, less likely to spill your juice while changing the atty. It also has an interesting top design, which I kind of like.

4ml of juice in what seems like a very compact size tank.... easy to fill..... easy to view remaining juice.....

The non removable drip tip may be an issue for some, but if it's a nice drip tip, which this one seems to be, it wouldn't bother me, personally.

I recently ordered the Herakles tank, which I found for $21 and free shipping, so not much more then the MSRP on this tank, but if money were tight for me, I could certainly see purchasing this tank, esp. when the glass version is released!

I'm curious how much more expensive the glass version will be....

One other thing... these sub ohm tanks that can vape up to 80, 100 watts... what's the attraction? Your battery will go dead much quicker, you can almost see your juice level dropping, and your tank/drip tip will start to get annoyingly hot!

Give me a tank that works at 25, 30w, maybe 40w, that gives lots of vapor, a slightly warm vape and tons of flavor, and I'm all over that! My battery will last much longer, and I don't have to deal with scalding drip tips!

Hey... everyone's different, and it's great to have all of these new choices! :p

for <$20 not bad, not as fugly as i initially thought after seeing a vid. galss w/ss would look nice imo when it comes out.
cant swap out tip...yet.
would coils cost as much as tank, lol.
rba would be good idea as tank cost very little = low cost vape

imho, ymmv, to each their own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yada yada etc etc............

Another review on it here. Seems to be getting pretty good reviews and I may consider picking one up in the future. I'd also like to try out the smok VCT and that one is also pretty cheap so I don't know which I'd like to try first. INNOKIN iSub Tank Review On TVC: https://youtu.be/-lgOmbwROX0

The coil being the 510 connection could be a good thing.... Every connection you include adds one more layer of voltage drop. Not a big deal on a regulated device...just up your wattage a tad, but on a mech.....minimizing voltage drop where you can is a real boon

This puppy drinks the juice
  • Air flow is massive
  • Flavor is spot on
  • No dry hits, wicks well
  • Non removable drip tip is fine
The bottom part holds 1 mil so when you fill it up, it appears only 3/4 full when connected

28 W for me is the sweet spot on a heavy VG

I like it better than my Atlantis V1 - similar sound on the inhale

For the Price, its a no brainer

Sound is similar

Now if they can make it with a top fill option, that would be a nice evolution...

Where did you get it? Sounds like you like it! So it drinks more juice than the Atlantis eh? That's what I'm running right now on a 50w istick. I was considering picking up a sub tank mini for the rebuildable option and I like the way it looks on the black istick with black o rings. For the price though the isub may be hard to beat. I wonder how it compares to the smok VCT. Those can be had for under $20 as well I believe.
