Innokin iclear 30b - tastes bad

Hi all,

hope you can help me, i am still pretty new to vaping. i found a great deal on a innokin cool fire 1 with an iclear 30b, i was so excited, it arrived this morning as i was leaving for work, as soon as i got home i filled it with my menthol ejuice, home mix 9mg 50/50pg/vg.

i have been using the bullsmoke kr808d-01 kit and refilling the cartridges and some esmart and other clearos i bought to try out, while i was reading everything i could get my hands on to see what the available options are.

it tastes horrible, great vapour, but a very strong flavour of soap and/or plastic, but not burnt, couldnt taste the minty menthol i was expencting. i have looked around here on the forum and online in general so am soaking it in a solution of boiling water and vodka.

but if anyone can offer me hope or suggestions of what i can do that would be great. its been an hour and 2 cups of tea and i can still taste the yuck. i tried vaping one of my fall back clearos and same thing.

I would think that the cleaning would do the trick. These things have who knows what in them from manufacturing.

after reading some of the posts on here, i boiled the clearo in water and vodka and it seems to have lost the bad smell, i am going to let it dry, so see what happens,
