$62 with NEXT DAY SHIPPING! Oh yea, I jumped on it. I actually like the iClear 30 so it was a no brainer for me!

I noticed they have taken the Innokin name off the SVDs on sale. I'd suggest asking them if these are actually Innokin. Previously they had Innokin SVDs listed and said that's what they were - Innokin.
Now both the kit and the SVD alone don't say that. They may, but it's worth asking.

I noticed that too but I'm sure it's a real Innokin. I'll find out for sure in about a week lol. Everything looks to be the exact same as all the other kits. Even has Innokin on the box so I would assume if it wasn't they could be busted for promoting a fake as the real thing.

Guessing you all haven't been keeping up with the gossip.. Yes, they are Innokin.. and 'cause they cut below the MSRP, Innokin is "hinting" they are fake.. LOL

Yea I saw Joe's post. I don't doubt they're real. When I first found Fasttech I wondered if some of what they sold were fake too. I know there's a lot of copies coming from China. I also know a little about how buying/selling works and about being an 'Authorized Retailer'. I did some research on FT and learned more about em. When I first started vaping I also thought eGo was a brand. Now I know it's a style. I was a little put off by Innokin's comments especially accusing FT of selling fakes. Either way they get their money so why should it matter. I play golf and the equipment companies tell the retailers what to sell their equipment for. It doesn't benefit the retailers or golf shops because they can't be competitive on pricing. I think it's ridiculous myself.

Actually I'm well aware of it. I was the one who posted on threads that they were Innokin after Fasttech told me they were. I also aware of Vapor Joe's post - which didn't tell me anything new about how the industry, and neither did it actually prove that what he said is what applies here - it is speculation about why Innokin responded they way they did, not fact. It may be true, or it may not. I'm not dissing Vapor Joe - he does a great job bringing deals to vapers. I am simply saying its not directly proven that the MRSP is the issue. Most of us seem to be choosing to believe that it is - it seems plausible.

So, having asked Fasttech initially to confirm they are Innokin SVDs, and having had them confirm they were, now I see Fasttech have removed the Innokin name from their product pages. I'm also aware Innokin threatened them with legal action if they didn't remove the name. Which makes me wonder - if they are genuine Innokin products legal action from Innokin would be a waste of time - so the name wouldn't need to be removed. I'm also aware that there are itaste MVPs for sale that are made by Bilstar, Sunpeak, and possibly other companies that look like exactly the Innokin ones.

In other words - I'm on the fence with this at this point. And I still have an SVD ordered.

Hmm I think with bilstar ones there probably have a deal with innokin or just a rebranded version I don't know for sure I can't find anything on the other make you said maybe some one should put them brands to innokin and see what they say. Remember there are lots of venders who buy products but change the names example vapourhut calls all there stuff VH verti etc.

You don't know if Bilstar have a deal with Innokin though do you? I just mentioned them as an example of what's out there. I'm simply saying that both possibilities could occur in this scenario. And we don't know which is which right now.
Speculation doesn't prove anything.

No your right I don't know I'm just saying could be but fasttech also told me they are genuine I will send product numbers etc to innokin from my MVP sometime this week and see what they say but to be fair I still don't have any worries I do think there genuine and removed the innokin name purely to shut innokin up.

Maybe. I'm getting an SVD from them myself. They told me those were Innokin, but that was before they removed the Innokin name from the product page. I'll still get the SVD. I'll know when I use it if it has the chip - which it should. And if its Innokin it should be built well, according to the reviews I've seen.
Sending product numbers to Innokin is a good idea - be very interested to hear how that goes for you.

Looks like the item that is listed as the battery compartment, not the kit - "ships in one tube only" - I am not really sure what that means.. Does that mean that it does not fit multiple batteries? hmm Perhaps someone who owns one could comment.. I am fine if it works with my 18650's.. awful tempting on this Friday/payday - since I am not in a huge hurry..

It fits multiple batteries. The longer tube option in the lit gives a bit better grip, but users have reported the shorter tube takes all the battery sizes ok.
