Hey everyone,

I've been been using the iTaste SVD with the iClear 30 for about six months. I'm pretty much entirely pleased with the whole package, with a few exceptions. The SVD is just a little too big and wonky for my taste. Even with the smaller tube supporting the 18350 (which isn't a desirable battery life for me), it's still too long. When I carry it around in my pocket the top is sticking out and I'm always conscious of it when I'm sitting down worrying if anything is unscrewing or getting bent. At this point I want to stay within the realm of APV's without breaking the bank - preferably less than $100. I'm looking for something smaller, more sleek, VV/VW, and one that possibly can accommodate an 18650 while avoiding box mods. I'm not looking for anything too fancy, basically just a slimmed down more portable VV/VW APV.

One more question I have is, for anyone who has used the iClear 30, have you found something better? I'm mostly concerned about the throat hit and I've heard the iClear has one of the best and that's why I've stayed with it, but I'm open to any suggestions. I like a hard throat hit and obviously if there's a good amount of taste in there that's good too. Thanks for any help.

Check out the ipv mini vr2 70w. It can be had for $60 to $70, is tubish, short, pocketable and runs a great chip on one 18650 battery. Should be an amazing improvement on the SVD.

iPV Mini 2 - 70W MOD Pioneer4you Greenleaf

You might want to look into rebuildables to improve flavor and the ipv will allow you to dial up the power to get that throat hit you're looking for.
