Vw, what does it do?

Recently started vaping, started with standard eGo and then got an innokin iTaste vv. that was the pinnacle of my vaping life and made me stop smoking completely and I can't see me turning back.
It's been 6 days since I officially stopped the cigarettes and I got my iTaste vv.
Now being relatively new and in the buying and collecting mode, I've ordered an iTaste SVD vv/vw, I understand what the variable voltage does, but what does variable wattage do?

Using a iTaste vv with Kanger MT3 have got iClear 30's to go with the SVD as well as many CE4's.

The amount of heat your coil produces is determined by the volts, watts and ohms. Different ohms coils will require more/less volts to give you the same vape. VW does this for you ie you tell it what watts (and therefore how hot you want your coil) and it adjusts the volts to vape the same on the next head.

In effect, it's the same thing as VV. However it automatically measures the resistance of the atomizer attachment and sets voltage to get a consistent power output from the coil. Watts can be a more easily compared unit between disparate setups.

It does the same thing, but "suppose to adjust itself" for the ATTY attached to it. In theory this is wonderful. In real life you still have to do some fine tuning. I'm just a VV guy so the only thing that gets used with VW is my mechanicals with a kick in them.
