Hello again and welcome back for my review of the Klypse Pro from innokin. The Klypse Pro is a upgrade from the original Klypse by having adjustable airflow, adjustable wattage ( 6-25 watts ), increased internal battery capacity ( 1000mAh ) and a hidden display screen. The size of the device really hasn't changed much but the Klypse Pro is a smidge taller. The pods have been upgraded from the original as well and are compatible with all Klypse devices. After some product information about the Klypse Pro from Innokin I'll tell you all my findings great, good, or bad in my review so lets get started.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Packaging is simple with a slide out inner box bottom with the Klypse Pro with the 0.6Ω preinstalled resting in a plastic tray, below the tray is a black box containing the 2nd 0.8Ω pod, USB-C charge cable, user manual and a safety booklet. I was sent the Red and Grey color for testing, Innokin also sent a couple of 1.2Ω pods as well. At fist glance they look like the original Klypse but are a smidge taller, colors are vibrant.

Picking the devices up I was pleased that they are lightweight enough for shirt pocket carry. The airflow control that sits almost centered has very good resistance to it so I wasn't worried about it coming off my setting while being carried in a pants pocket. That's where the dust cover cap comes in handy preventing pocket lint or other debris from falling into the mouthpiece. The cap connects magnetically and is very strong as is the magnets of the pods themselves.

As always when testing a device with a internal battery I always charge it so it's at full capacity during the review. The USB-C charge port is located on the bottom so the device will need to be laid down for charging which is fine. filling the pods is done by way of a side mounted rubber plug.

The pod must be removed in order to be filled, doing so is when I noticed the larger than usual auto draw airflow intake slot inside the Klypse Pro device that channels air to the 2 airflow inlet holes of the pod. Innokin places a safety sticker on the contacts of the preinstalled pod, don't forget to remove it before using for the first time.

I am happy to report that the pods do have a tint to them but are lightly tinted so you will have no problem viewing your juice level. The fill port is large so most if not all bottle tips should fit inside. Innokin put a minimum fill line on the pods but you will have to remove the pod to see it.

There is a adjustable airflow by way of a slider, there are 2 airflow holes with 1 being a tad bit smaller in diameter, I found this device to be more on the airy side and wish the airflow could be reduced a bit more, I found that completely closing the airflow gave me the best MTL vape while fully opened produced a vey tight RDL vape, both are acceptable but I wish I could fine tune the airflow a bit more.

The Klypse Pro is a auto draw only device, it's single button is for wattage adjustments and turning the device on/off making it a very easy to operate device.

To make wattage adjustments quickly press the adjustment button 2 times and the wattage will begin flashing, now you can adjust wattage in .5 increments.

This device has the smart wattage feature preventing you from applying more wattage than the pod is rated for, if you go over the maximum wattage it will round robin back to 6 watts, I'm happy the Klypse Pro has this feature as well. Turning the device on/off is done by pressing the adjustment button 3 times quickly. There is a protective sticker across the display screen.

The display screen is very basic showing the wattage applied next to a battery bar, I like that you get a battery bar as well as the color coded large battery light. There is not a puff counter of ohms display on the screen, however when the pod is installed ohms are displayed briefly. There is a counter for seconds vaped of your last vape that is displayed.

The hand fit is good with or without the dust cap connected to the bottom of the device. The device doesn't take up much real estate.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

I have really enjoyed the Klypse Pro in the couple of weeks I've been using it, a very large pro is it's battery management system that allows me to vape all day on a single charge ( IMPRESSIVE ).

The pods hold a good amount of juice and are sippers of juice not guzzlers which means fewer refills.

This is a very simple and easy to use device but there are some really nice features that are included such as having the smart wattage feature preventing accidentally going over the maximum wattage for the pod that's installed, ( all devices should have this feature ).

Having both a battery bar and battery strength color coded light is another plus. This isn't a featherweight but it's light enough for shirt pocket carry, another plus.

Think what you want about the included dust cap but I like them because I've had the displeasure of getting pocket lint in a mouthpiece more than once in the past, another plus.

My only wish is that it had a bit more tightness in the draw for MTL, just a smidge more. Flavor is good on all 3 pods I used .

I would like to thank Alisa and Innokin for providing the Klypse Pro for the porpose of my review, Innokin has been really coming out with some real winners as of late with the Klypse Pro included.

I would like to thank all of you that read my reviews as well and hope life is good with you.

    THANK YOU
