► Innokin Klypse Pro; 1.000mAh battery & LED:
On the side profile of Klypse Pro there are two writings, one reads "Klypse Pro" and the other "Innokin". Under the INNOKIN writing there is a LED that is activated when you use the Mod, when you recharge it or when you receive a protection notification. The Type-C charging port is located on the bottom of the device, the 1,000mAh battery guarantees approximately 42% battery life compared to that of the original Klypse. The current charge level is shown on the display but is clearly represented by the color of the LED:
• Red LED: Charge level less than 10%
• Blue LED: Charge level between 10% and 30%
• Green LED: Charge level above 30%
► Innokin Klypse Pro; Display & Mode Button:
On one side of Klypse Pro there is a smoked panel that hides a display from view, the display is activated when the Mod is used. The display is rather small as is natural, however it shows bright and easily readable fonts . The data reported is basic and concerns the wattage, the duration of the last puff and the battery charge indicator. Just above the display there is what looks like a Fire button, but it isn't, in fact Klypse Pro is equipped with automatic shooting only, so this is the Mode button.
• 3 clicks on the Mode button to turn the Mod on and off
• 2 clicks on the Mode button to make the watt value flash, then with each subsequent click on the mode button the value increases by 0.5W at a time. The Smart chipset places a limit on the maximum power value of each cartridge to avoid damage to the coils.
► Innokin Klypse Pro; Pod compartment:
The compartment/pod houses inside the sensor for the automatic activation of the puff and two small circular magnets which are the mirror image of those present on the bottom of the cartridge, the magnets are powerful and keep the cartridge firmly inside the Mod. Furthermore, there is a sensor for automatic activation of the shot. In turn, the hygienic cap fits perfectly onto the cartridge but mechanically. To vape you must remove the cap and to avoid losing it you can attach it to the bottom of the mod via the strong magnetism generated by two hidden magnets that are inside the cap.
► Innokin Klypse Pro; Klypse Cartridges:
The cartridges included in the Kit are made of transparent PCTG, are equipped with a reference notch for the minimum e-liquid level and an adhesive sticker on the bottom to prevent the coil from being activated involuntarily during transport. The bottom base of the cartridge has two magnets, two gold-plated contacts and the airflow channel for automatic shooting operation. The silicone filling cap is located on the side of the cartridge and has an arrow indicating which side to lift the cap from. The filling port is large enough to easily introduce 2ml of e-liquid with the majority of bottles on the market. The kit includes a 0.6Ω Klypse cartridge with a 20-22W range and a 0.8Ω Klypse cartridge with a 12-13W range.
Klypse Pro 0.6Ω/0.8Ω/1.2Ω cartridges can be purchased in recyclable paper packs of 3pcs each.
In the image below you can see the compatibility of the updated Klypse cartridges with all Innokin Klypse devices. Of course you can also use old Klypse cartridges and even pre-loaded ones if you have some.
► Innokin Klypse Pro; Vaping Test & Final Conclusions:
To test the new cartridges I used one of my favorite creamy liquids; "Crispy Too Puft" 50/50 base with 3mg/ml boost.
• Klypse Pod (2ml) 0.6Ω range 20-22W:
The Chipset automatically detects this cartridge and selects 18W power by default for it, you can manually set up to 25W or go slightly below 18W and you will always get a ready activation. I like this cartridge because it allows you to close the air and obtain a strong shot on target and a perfect and narrow MTL shot which is ideal for tobacco or cream liquids. With the airflow wide open and with a power setting of at least 22W you can really get an open RDL hit and generate large clouds of vapor maximizing flavor especially with fruit or cream e-liquids. The puff is always smooth and silent with any degree of opening of the AFC.
• Klypse Pod (2ml) 0.8Ω range 12-13W:
The Chipset automatically detects this cartridge and selects 11W power by default for it but you can manually set up to 13W. This cartridge is specific for loose MTL, therefore to obtain the best performance; you have to adjust the air slider towards an intermediate position, if you wish you can close the air slider slightly to obtain a more restrained and warmer Puff with greater throat hit. With this cartridge and according to my tastes you can enjoy synthetic tobacco or creamy e-liquids with satisfaction.
• Klypse Pod (2ml) 1.2Ω range 11-12W:
The Chipset automatically detects this cartridge and selects 10W power by default for it, you can manually set up to 12W or easily drop below 10W and you will always get a prompt response when drawing steam. This cartridge is specific for MTL, therefore to obtain the best performance; you have to adjust the air slider towards a narrow position, if you want you can close the air slider completely and you will get a really closed and braked Puff without experiencing any spitting problems. With this cartridge, according to my tastes, you can enjoy synthetic tobacco e-liquid with satisfaction with a truly low and negligible consumption.
Speaking of the Klypse Pro Mod I must say that I also liked the original Klypse especially for the presence of the anti-dirt hygienic magnetic cap, furthermore the range of colors is sober and pleasant. Overall the design is functional and elegant. Klypse Pro has compact dimensions and is also very light thanks to the aluminum alloy. The presence of the side LED and the display are a decisive step forward compared to the original Klypse. Another improvement concerns the cartridges which all offer a good flavour, good vapor production and a strong hit, also thanks to a good air flow regulation system, furthermore the condensation that forms in the compartment/pod is really minimal, almost inexistent. The magnets are strong, both those of the cartridge and those of the hygienic cap. The chipset comes with multiple security protections. The set power seems real and constant until the end of the battery charge, the battery has an excellent energy reserve, 1,000mAh is enough to face the day without charging anxiety. The klypse Pro shot is uniquely automatic and the sensor activates perfectly and effortlessly. To conclude, Klypse Pro satisfied me and I would recommend it for those looking for a vaporizer built in a simple but robust way, which offers maximum portability, good hygienic protection thanks to the magnetic cap. It won't be difficult to be satisfied with Klypse Pro.
