Just saw this on innokin's twitter-

Cliff notes
-Got it to fire at .9 OHMS. Anything lower it won't fire.
-Uses the exact same case as the MVP2
-2600mah battery
-Functions and menu system the same
-Comes in funky colors
-Goes up to 20w, 7volts
-Flush 510 connection with floating pin

My thoughts
-innokin really slacked on this one
-They are way outdated and slacked big time on this battery. I pass.

I dunno. If the build quality is as good (IMO) as the 2.0, then I'd recommend the 20 Watt device over the iStick. The iStick is cute and small, but if someone is only looking to go to 20 watts, then I think the MVP device will be a better built APV overall. Just too many issues with the iStick (I have three iSticks and have had two MVP2.0s and the iSticks have been alright for me besides one stripped thread rendering one practically unusable on the first and then a "soft" fire button on the second, with all three firing too hot).

A second issue, IMO, is that the MVP 20 Watt design is familiar to those who had good experiences with the 2.0. I had a very good experience with my MVPs as a newb and I'd love to be able to recommend a more powerful version of it to other new vapers. I will likely end up getting the 20 Watt version for myself and demote my iSticks to backup backup status. I'll just throw an Aerotank or a Kayfun on the MVP 20 Watt and call it a day. Hopefully, a reliable, durable, long-lasting-charge day (or two). :)

I think they were pushing to get something out for the holidays and to compete against the iStick. It does have a good construction reputation, being based on the MVP2.

The MVP3 is, reportedly, a different animal.

They rushed it WAY too fast. I have a feeling it will disappoint given all the small form batteries being released, and released, that can also subohm.

According to here

Innokin iTaste MVP3.0 | 30watt Version | Smoke City Ca

The MVP3 is supposed to launch around Christmas?!

I love my iSticks. There's an adapter made by eLeaf to save your threads and make it spring loaded. I own 2.

Once I put the adapters on my second and third iSticks I've had no troubles at all. Obviously I really like those little guys because I bought three of them :) Just wish I didn't have to have one get ruined to learn this lesson. I've recommended the iStick to many many new vapers. It gets the job done and I love the size. It's just a few little nitpicks versus what I'm *hoping* the 20 Watt MVP will be for those in the market for a 20 watt device. :)

The MVP 20W will probably sell like girl scout cookies because of its predecessor's reputation. At this point I'd rather have it than the iStick. Sold the iStick last week because its just too harsh with 18mg juice. Not sure about the MVP 3 as I bought the IPV Mini. Have a feeling I'll purchase the next iStick as they'll most likely use RMS and have the threading issues sorted out. I also like the innovative products being released by Eleaf.

I'm really looking forward to the new mvp hitting the streets. Then we can start pointing new vapers towards that instead of a cheap little thing that has crappy regulation and a crappy connector. Hate me all you want. I'm tired of the istick love fest. It's an overhyped pos. The new mvp can't come soon enough.

I'm fire proof so go ahead.

I think I love you. Don't tell my wife.

Don't know about overhyped.

Popular? Yes. Well publicized? For sure.

Does it work? Mostly.

Will people be able to use it to stop smoking? Definitely.

Well if the fact that the MVP 20watt doesn't sub-ohm below 0.9 bothers a person and they say that they will stay with an I-stick for that reason, IMO they're being petty. The I-stick has a lower mah rating for the battery and isn't supposed to run coils with a resistance lower than 1.0 ohms. Granted it is laid out nicer as far as screen and controls and is respectively smaller unit but to say it is better than the MVP 20watt because of the MVP only running down to 0.9 ohms is ridiculous. Why didn't Innokin design an entire new platform for this, it's easy why mess with the design of one of their best selling and most popular mods. Why didn't Harley revamp the body of the electra-glide for nearly 30 years? Simple, why mess with what people are accustomed to if it isn't broken don't fix it we'll add a few performance enhancements for a few more bucks and people will happily buy it, it's the same philosophy with the MVP. Obviously this is just my opinion and that and 10 cents won't get you a cup of coffee but that's okay too.:2c:
