I am the proud owner of an innokin MVP. If you own this great device you should be aware of these important factoids:

First, the charging port is extremely fragile.

Before you plug one in closely eyeball the female jack on the bottom of the device.Sometimes they are misaligned and you need to start the plug in process at a slight angle. If you just try to jam it in, even gently, the jack will detach from its inner connection and you're screwed, unless you have a good vendor, like I did (thanks Electronic Stix )

Second, If you attach the "beauty ring" be very careful about ratcheting down your atomizing device to snugly. It will pop out. Mine did, then it popped back in, without any further effect on functioning. Just be careful



It's a great mod, so don't let that dissuade you, just trying to help y'all if you got one for Christmas!

I noticed this with the "beauty ring" too. It will act like a hub puller and pull the connection out. I haven't pulled the connection fully out but have raised it some...i pushed it back in. I have to stop tightening as soon as I meet any resistance at all.

It's a design flaw. I got two of them and I don't use the ring on it and it still slowly eases out. I push it back down. It's a great device. The connectors are pressed in.

I can't put mine down since I got it. I didn't know if I would like the box form factor but I most certainly do. I'm being real careful not to screw anything on too tight and so far haven't had any problems. I will say this, it's much smaller than I thought it would be.

Yeah, it was definitely narrower than I expected. My only gripe with it is I wish the connection was flush with the top, it can get a bit tall with some tanks. I've been looking at the measurements of the soon to be released SmokTech Groove, it has a flush connection, but is 20ml wider.

I own so many mods, this one is my favorite. I like how it feels in my hands, how it performs, how long it lasts. I find it amazing I don't miss all the other functions like ohm reader. I start low and go up to what I like, which is really how it should be instead of looking at charts to set it.

I plan to get another one. I am a big fan now of innokin. I got the ican at the same time and I love it too. People think it just looks so cool and it works flawlessly.

Beauty ring is not that beautiful, the metal looks cheap and not machined will, so I am leaving it off. Especially if it causes problems.

I had the charging port popped off the circuit board on one of my MVP's. I own two.
There's a video on Youtube, where a guy shows a dissembled MVP with the charging port issue.
No mater how careful you insert the charging cable, it still happens. Now I have an expensive paper weight.
They're great units, just wish they had better quality control on the inside.

Yup, have problems with the charging port on my MVP now as well. It will still work if I put upwards pressure on it so I have to stick something underneath the charging cable for it to charge. Also had the connector rise a few times, just pressed it back down, hasn't seemed to have any problems in that regard.

I'm very happy, I like the form factor. Box mods feel comfortable in my hand.

I just did the Field of vaper mod.iTaste MVP Review - YouTube Go to 7 minutes and 25 seconds, by the way the screws use a T7 hex bit. The guy at radio shack let me open a package and use it. Basically you unscrew bottom and push the on off button sideways and than rescrew it and it is 100% flat. Naturally you disable the ability to use an external device but I don't care. The reason I like Box mods is that when I put them on a table it's easy and stable and if they fall they don't roll off the table.

One problem I ran into was that I have the newest revision with the Ego, I decided to test it using a tank and a meter. They used 510 connections. Well the 510 pushed the center pin in a fraction and when I returned to my Kanger T3 it wouldn't make contact [Fire].

Luckily I had a pick and it turned out that I was able to hook it under an pull it out a fraction and now my Kangers work like a champ.

Right now I'm pretty amazed, I started the MVP on a full charge Friday at 5:30 and have been vaping heavily at around 4.1V Kanger t3 showing 2.6ohm and it's still green on Sunday. Two Days Later this unit is making very efficient use of the battery.

I should mention that my meter shows that the unit is consistently .12 V low under load in the range that I vape at. So if you vape at 4.1 you need to have it set at around 4.2. This is not a dealbreaker because I tested the stability and for the whole 10 seconds [Until shutoff] voltage regulation is rock solid.
