Input for Dual 18650 VV Wood Mod

I have an idea for a dual 18650 variable volt mod with switching regulator for looong battery life and built in meter.
I need some input about the size.
The mod is 4 inches tall, 3 inches deep and 1 inch thick and made from wood.
The tank will be resessed and only sticks out of the top of the mod by 1/4 inch plus tip.
The mod is large, but it still fits in a shirt pocket.
Do you think it is too big?

To big for me, yes. To big for you? Well, you are making it and if you like it then go for it!! I would enjoy looooong battery life, but not at the expense of the size of that unit.
