Ist day hubs has felt good since his long chemo session last Thursday and he has another chemo today. The pits.
Not much else new here other than the weather. We had a shot of summer yesterday with sun and 85. Today it got to 75 and then started raining and dropped to 69.

That is rough. Just when he is feeling better. It sounds like the chemo is having good results though. I hope he doesn't feel too bad this week. I am seeing one of my best friends deal with chemo right now. She has Pancreatic Cancer. She was diagnosed in October and is doing well so far. It is day by day though. My mom had a PET scan and bone marrow test the last 2 days. We are keeping our fingers crossed about the results. We don't know anything just yet. We can only hope for the best and stay positive.
That is really warm for there isn't it? We had a high of 70 here yesterday. It rained the last 2 days. On Tuesday it flooded a bit. I had to go across town in it. Those times really make me miss the Jeep. Temperature wise it has been perfect though. I am going to enjoy it while it lasts. Soon it will be in the triple digits for 3 months.
Yes it is warm for May. We got up to 80. Prayers for your friend. That is a deadly cancer. Prayers for your Mom also.
We are in a cool spell for now. It was a warm winter for us so i am not too optimistic for the summer. It was also very dry this year. Hopefully the fires won't be too bad. They were terrible last year. Thanks. She has a positive attitude and is a fighter, but the prognosis is grim with that one. She didn't want to know how long she has. Every day is a gift. Never take a single one for granted. We are not promised tomorrow. My mom got back from testing now we have to wait for the results to come back. Lymphoma, her dentist caught it. Hopefully they got it early and it is the non aggressive type. Hoping for the best for all. Best wishes for your husband. He is in all our thoughts and prayers.

That's great Fran. I take it his chemo isn't a candidate for the steroids? Those worked very well for a coworker of mine.
I knew that. Randy's was incurable pancreatic cancer but the steroids helped tremendously with the chemo. Certain treatments they don't work with tho.
The chemo bought him time and the steroids bought him quality of life with the grandkids. Not all chemo treatments are compatible.
I'm glad it worked well for him. It's a deadly cancer but it does go in remission. Our town police officer was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 6 years ago. He in his 70's now and just retired but doing well.
