The blue is from heating the coils. Nothing toxic there.

I try to do that with my coils, but I get impatient and end up burning them in at a higher wattage.

I met a guy who builds that type of wire. I want to see if he can teach me a bit.

You have to wash them with soap and water then rinse very thoroughly. Start at a very low wattage and pulse them. Dont make them glow till the very end. Then do it once. The blue is from getting it very hot. There is a heat color chart at the beginning of this thread. (Page 1 in fact)

My contribution to exotic wire: a 0.75 Clapton coil. Premade and etc. LOL I liked the vape but I think my skills (if any) like with single round wire builds. But, so pretty!

Good morning! People have gotten so crazy with coil building lately. I like building with clapton wire. It is much easier than thin guage single wire. Building with the thin stuff hurts my eyes lol.

I've been rewrapping batteries. The Liion wraps are so much better and easier to use than the FT crap I have. Loving the translucent colors.


Did get in some restock flavors. Finding room for them will be a challenge tho.

That looks quite convenient. I like the translucent wraps. Quite shiny! I love the new AVS wire. I think it is gonna be for single coils tho. 5 wraps and it is .19. Man, it fires fast!

Love AVS for single coils. Think I'm going to have to revisit other wires for dual builds tho. Single wire builds just don't hit my sweet spot. The hit just feels off somehow.
