I used tube mods for years. I think internal battery tubes are more dangerous than any mechanical box. If you take care of it and practice due dilligence you will be fine. Those are much safer for someone new to mechanicals than tubes. It is far less likely you would ever end up in a scary situation. Essentiially the battery is always connected and the switch is further down the line. The 510 is distant as well but connected. In a tube mech, the circuit breaks at the battery and the circuit is the body of the mod itself. If there is any issue with wraps or anything the circuit will complete or short out. I see some infographics on the way. Gotta head out now, but I'll be back shortly.I feel really good about it, it looks great, and you are right if I doup it's plastic so the shrapnel will be bad but not as bad, a pipebomb I mean tube mod
I did a lot of research before buying the Pulse. It was the only unreg. Squonker I found that had no issues. Some arced, some had button issues, some had faulty locks, some auto fired. none of that with the Pulse. It is not the prettiest but it is well designed and well made especially for the price.
It looks good and I love how customizable it is. There are prettier ones out there. Almost all the really nice looking ones had an issue. Athena arcs. Pico squeeze auto fires and the DotSquonks button issues the button lock on my RAM doesn't work and that button sticks out. On the pulse there is a kill switch at the back of the button. I'll post a pic. It haz a white tab. Move that to the right and it cuts the power. I never use itbecause it also has a recessed button.I like the look of it and I can make it pretty Purple Doors maybe a Joker and Holly sticker...
Hi Jim! How ya doin' tonight?Hi skunk!
No you won't have to take out the battery. Even without the kill switch, the button is firm and recessed so it is pretty safe on its own.means I won't have to take the battery outso I like that.
Not too bad. After i'm finished with this shift, I'm off for the next three days, trying to figure some things to do. I think I will put an order in for some more juice, and a few more batteries, and a battery case.Hi Jim! How ya doin' tonight?
