Picked up a watch. Not the fanciest by a long shot but I like it it's simple and clean.

I think the beauty is in it's simplicity. Nice choice, classic and handsome.
Thanks! It is hard to find normal sized watches anymore. The trend is towards the huge watches which I really don't like. I prefer classic styles with watches.

I PRETENDED to WATCH the kid play many a video game in his youth. He's still playing.

Both of my brother have the Occulus Rift or whatever is the latest generation "artificial reality" thing whatever.

I am ashamed of them and I am never trying it. ONE reality is way way too much for me to handle. LOL, in case I am insulting anyone, I will stop.

I was around for the Commodore 64 and could never beat "Manic Miner." I don't like things I can't beat.

LOL.

I have fun with them. Just have to keep everything in balance. I try to keep him busy with all sorts of things. We definitely enjoy some games. I grew up in the 80s and started playing games at arcades when I was his age. Actually new games are easier IMO than the old ones. I've tried some old games recently and they are too fast and nerve wracking for me now.

Started playing WoW again with a side of Fortnite and H1Z1

I have over 1000 hours in H1Z1 played since the very first day. First two times I loaded in right next to a bear third time was at the dam at night

Elwood P. Dowd: Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it.

I have a working Commodore 64 in my closet

Never have played a home video/box thing game. Closest I've come is miss pacman and berserker. Do have a few big fish games on disks but haven't played them in over a year.

New sister site to ECF. Just vape deals. Check it out. I registered an account, I'll definitely be using this.

From Oliver:
Hi all,

For some time I've wanted to run a fully fledged sister site to ECF that focuses on deals, bargains and giveaways. We have a coupons site but it's been very neglected over the years, and wasn't ever a real priority since it kind of didn't "mesh" with the ECF spirit for me.
I am not sure what he means by this. Why a new site is better than devoting time to add to this one?
What was the ECF spirit, that wasn't 'meshing' with finding deals? Seems like a good bargain is a priority for most of us, right here, on the one-stop-shop for all that is vape...
There are "vape deals" sites, with mailing lists, right now, and social media is probably going to swallow up most of that traffic, as has happened with all else.
I think it makes more sense to have one place to go, keeps people engaged here, unless it really is about keeping high margin advertisers from complaining too much about the ones cutting pricing.

Amen to that! Who was the rapper with the clock around his neck? That's what I think of when I see the giant monstrosities on some guys wrists. Just strap on an office clock, and call it a day...

My older brother still has a working Commodore 64. And, how I remember the phone modem days where they kicked you off if someone picked up the phone. "CENSORED" would float through the house at high volume.

I freely admit I sometimes did it on purpose. It was an easy way to get revenge. LOL.

That site looks super cool, I bookmarked it! Thanks for the link.

Yeah , not sure why they chose to do it that way. Hopefully they put links from ecf to there. It is still under construction but I like what I see so far. The design is very different from ecf. It may have been easier to just start it from scratch than integrate it into this. We would have probably have seen a whole lot of "ERROR 502" while it was under construction as well.

Flavor flav. He lives here and a few of my friends have run into him at Wally World lol. He can be seen riding his bikes around as well. Heard he's really nice. Actually a musical genius believe it or not. I find those giant watches tacky. Looks like a little kid wearing dad's watch.
