every time I look at this I get so ...... off. when I do my coil math it is based on a 30A battery for my 20700 and these could be as low as 20A. Meaning I could blow my face off. Battery Manufacturers are around to make money I understand that but this puts our Safty at risk I think this company should be made an example of as well as any other company found to be miss rating their products. It is bad enough that we have to deal with people blowing their faces off due to being stupid, but add in companies taking shortcuts, or not properly doing quality control then it is going to be harder and harder to say vaping is safer.
In the statement they posted on facebook they say they will give Some Discount to people who got the miss rated batteries some discount is unacceptable to me. I think it should be full reimbursement and or replacement. and a discount on future purchase

So the purple are off too? Understand the disappointment but you can still use the battery, tho I would be more inclined to use in a regulated device.
no, the purple is fine just out of stock everywhere I am willing to deal with, but my girlfriend ordered me a set of the gold along with the doors and rabbits and tattoo for our aniversary waiting on them to get here. I am trying to decide if I am going to send them back or use them on the Aurora but they are out of question for the Pulse.
Edit also feel kinda bad since I told Skunk he should get them. But also this brings up the question if they did it once what is to stop them from doing it again

So you weren't buying the purple ones just for the color after all lol. The iJoys have inflated ratings also. They claim 40A but are 30. It sucks that they have to use false advertising to sell batteries. Somebody is going to get hurt because of it. Hohm life is the worst offender. Don't feel bad. You made a solid recommendation. They changed cells without saying anything. That's why I usually stay away from "vape" batteries. Ijoys were all I could get at the time tho.
Edit: I would be careful building to the amp rating. I usually go for at least 5 under.
Lol. With a regulated I wouldn't go much higher than 50W on a 20A battery. Use them for single coils I guess? You can get pretty good performance from singles at that wattage.

53w seems to be the sweet spot on my Pulse 80w. I have a .23ohm coil load. I really like the purple Vapcell 20700's. I was waiting for the Ijoy's to restock, but glad I went with the Vapcell's.
Ijoy 5 legs are good batteries. 30 amps with decent life. I may pick up some purples down the road.
Is it just me or did everybody lose their "new posts" button? I had to get a new phone and it's just not there now.
I still have it in ecf dark. If you are in aluminum there it's in a drop down. On my phone even in dark I have to use the Drop down.
