I'm sort of working under the assumption that us desert folk will be rewarded when global warm-- I mean, climate chang-- I mean, weather patterns destroy most of the face of the earth and maybe our part of the globe will become rainy and lush and tropical even.

But until then, man yesterday evening it was OVER a HUNDRED and freaking storms all around us but not OVER us, and it was the least pleasant freaking hot and RAPID breeze I had ever encountered and it sort of looked like the lightning was like, setting stuff on FIRE.

I want the Fall. I want it so bad I can taste it, almost (less dirty is the taste) and even December when it will be a balmy 60 degrees and I will wear a COAT.

Although to be frank I much prefer the summers to being cold as TOO COLD to exit the cave. Everyone's all like "But you can put on more clothes, it's better." And I'm like "You can only put on so many clothes until you become a rolling human BALL, too. And etc.

But nobody listens to me. LOL.

1 month of no purchases. I have seen a lot of stuff I like, but have held off. I have enough stuff now to last a very long time. I have cut all other expenses to necessities only. In that time I have wiped out $1000 of debt. Hopefully next month is even better.
Congrats, debt sucks.

Debt is so frustrating. I'm so glad I have "dealt" with mine although I'm thinking my approach of finding work so I have more money so I can reduce debt properly is the right one, that and NEVER using my credit cards again, unless I need to break in somewhere.

I'm naturally talented at that, apparently. One job it took forever to get a key to my office and the custodians were always like, locking it. I was able to get it open on pretty much my first try. I did go down to where all the drugs were locked up (it was a methadone clinic) to inspect the lock and see if I could get it working, only then I peered up at the camera and thought to myself, "Do I really want my job knowing what I'm capable of doing." LOL.

But yeah, I am of the "leave your doors open WIDE" camp, and mainly because I feel safe most of the time and if I'm anxious, well, like frankly, it's usually not about ROBBERS and I know how useless most locking systems are, etc.

well, things have been fairly dead in here as of late I think it is the heat is cooking us so I have a question for all of you.

How do you clean your gear RDAs, Tanks, Mods, ect.?
I have a little metal measuring cup. Looks like a saucepan. I take apart each tank and dunk all parts in it with warm water. Take parts out and shake them and then air dry. Sometimes blow them out. I then dry burn coils. Use a little juice to oil o-rings and re-assemble. Wipe down mods with baby wipes.

If it isn't painted/color hot water awn bath, alcohol dip. If ss dawn bath in UC followed by alcohol dip. Only use the alcohol so they dry quickly.

I am sooooo over Summer.
Same heat wave in LA that is in LV. I do not think I have cooled off in like 3 days. Maybe, once at about 2 in the morning the night before last when I forgot to turn the a/c up when I went to bed and woke up to a nice 72 degrees

Any DIY plumbers here?? I paid the neighbor kid, (he is a decent electrician and plumber, in both unions) to put a new kitchen faucet in. I had great water pressure from both hot and cold before. As soon as he was done I noticed diminished water pressure on hot. It eventually went to a dribble. If I have not turned it on in a while I might get 60 seconds of water before it dribbles down to a stop. He came back over, took it off, blew in it etc. (says it is not clogged) and now says I need new piping from the main joint to the kitchen sink. I am just perplexed because I had good pressure before the faucet was replaced

Look in the instructions for how to remove the diffuser. Might just be a militant diffuser, some brands go overboard and if the holes are too small and act more like a cork.
