Installing coils

I was wondering if it is better to screw in coils into the base of the tank first and screw the top and glass in after or screw it into the top first and then attach the base. Does it matter?

It all depends on the tank.

I never really thought about it. So I would say doesn't matter, whatever works.

Screw the coil into the base first. That's where the connection to power occurs. You want that connection snug.
