So I just got my vamo in the mail today, along with some Panasonic CGR18650s and an Intellicharger I2. I have been charging the batteries for about two hours now and was wondering if it's normal for the batteries to get really warm during charging. Not hot, but warm. The charger itself I expect to get really warm as it's converting AC to DC, but I'm just curious if it's okay.

Any help?

they seemed to have charged up finally, however, they're reading at 4.3v in my Vamo. Is it okay to use them or is my charger junk?

Edit: Disregard that. I'm just being a paranoid tinfoil hat wearing nerd. Tested with my multi-meter at 4.23v. Today I learned my Vamo isn't too precise with reading voltages of the battery.

Yeah, the ohm-meter is off by 0.1ohms sometimes too. Not a big deal though, just something to keep in mind when you get a reading.

Batteries should be rested state (30 minutes resting after removing from the charger) when reading voltage off the multi meter. Not hot off the charger. Hot off the charger will not be what the battery charge is.

Regards.

True. But I'm not looking for an accurate reading. I just want to make sure the numbers are increasing.
