yeah, the usb charger is so quick at charging that i must admit im very dubious as to whether the battery is fully charged or not. (takes less than 20 minutes!) even after the battery led remains lit to indicate a full charge i still leave it plugged in for another hour to be on the safe side!

pete, do you still get a full battery life if you take it off charge as soon as the led stays on?

i should just try it for myself and see, but i only have the one battery and need it to last me the full day!

When I plug the usb in, the tip flashed about twice and it has been plugged in for about 3 hours and the tip still never lit up and it is not charged.

How can I tell if it is the battery or the charger?

Angl, when I plug the usb into my laptop the battery flashes 5 times at the start but the LED never lights up after that (I read elsewhere that the laptop cuts off power to the usb port once it's fully charged such that the LED doesn't get a chance to light up). I've now got a mains plug with an integrated usb port and the LED does light up when I use that. If that's what you're meaning then it's nothing to worry about and you can assume your battery will be charged after 1 - 2 hours but I'm not sure from your post if you mean the battery is still not usable after charging for 3 hours.

There's a thread on the LED not being activated when fully charged here

Thanks a million! I had to delete the link since I don't have enough posts to include one.

Strictlybusiness,

mine took about a month(it was in stock at order time). It was a WASTE of money. All the hype I don't understand, but if you must have the slimmest ecig, that may be it. It you want LOADS of vapor and long cartridge life at a fair price, my opinion, get a penstyle. Mine cost 28 USD and was worth every penny. Bear in mind, if I make a video comparison of 2 ecigs(and juice one with motor oil and the other with eliquid) which one is going to stand out? Anyway, I don't have time to do video reviews, but now own about 15 different ecigs, the penstyle(generic) "smokes them all"

Good Luck

Anyone have an idea of how long it takes intellicig to get their products to the US Northern Eastcoast?

I order from intellicig UK ..I get mine in about 7days from UK to PA. Three times that i ordered same delivery time.( received another one today) I have never had any unusual wait time or backorder situation. Plus I always get email response within 24-48hrs.

i love the evo it is by far the best cigarette style pv that Ive used...but now you cant get their products until the fda loosens up

Where did you hear that? I got another EVO today. The intellicig company UK sends out emails and nothing is mentioned about FDA problems for delivery to the U.S.

I placed my second order with them and received it last Saturday, which was awesome timing, so I had one to take on my trip.

Excellent service so far.

Perhaps it is random packages that are getting held up by customs and I was lucky.

I've made 4 orders with them. The delivery times have varied each time.

The fastest order got here in 9 days. The last order I made was sent out (dispatched) on 4-2. It got here today, so, about 20+ days. This one was a bulk order, so not sure if larger packages take longer.

They do a good job of putting descriptions like "cartridges" on the customs forms. Haven't had a shipment held.

Hey, I'm a noob. But this thread helped me out so... I ordered through intellicig last weekend. They shipped on monday and I got my kit and accessories today. So a one week turn around from my order date. Shipping was steep ~75$ on a 400$ order. I had emailed John at intellicig (it was actually 2 orders and I wanted to combine shipping) he was great about combining everything and he threw an extra 25 carts + an extra 20 ml bottle of the Ecopure juice. Hopes that helps anyone waithing for/considering ordering from them. I was impresses.

Just ordered mine tonight, can't wait to get it. It's my first attempt at these e-cigarettes...
I ordered extera carts for the time being, figure I'll get into refilling them next time around once I learn the in and outs of it.
Thanks everyone for the valuable info, it helped me decide which one to try.

Hello everyone, new member here, apparently I can't start a thread,so I just replied here.I have some questions.Okay, here we go.How long does the battery normally last? How about the atomizer? I had the evo for 4 days now,so far so good.Trying to decide to order a few atomizers for my intellicig or get a different e-cig.I want two complete units-one for home-one at work.I hear some say the atomizer last about 2-3 weeks, and I heard they last for 6 months! There is a big difference here!My experience with the battery using it generously lasts around 3-4 hours.I can't evaluate about the atomizer since I only had it 4 days now. Here's one for the cart-on a prefilled cart, how often can you refill it after it's empty?I realize that the filler needs to be cleaned ever so often with hot water and dried.Or can yu buy blank carts to be filled with juice? This might be a stupid question but can we put 2 of the fillers in one cart to hold more juice?they seem so small to hold much.Sorry for all the questions, but as a newbie,I need all the help I can get! Thanks in advance for any replies!!

The really good news after continued use of the Evo is that imho they get better over time. The atomisers become less "aggressive" and noisy whilst still producing good vapour. I have also become accustomed to the length and weight of the Evo in comparison to the original Intellicig. Topping up the Evo cartridges is really simple when still in the mouthpiece if you tilt the mouthpiece with the air gap uppermost. The liquid settles into the cart fibre easily. Also leaving the cart stood on end for a few minutes ensures better absorption of the liquid. I haven't tried the new type of Evo cartridge yet so cannot comment on those.

It's very portable, very reliable and has great battery life. I now use the Evo in preference to the Original when out and about, though I still use the Originals at home. To my mind it represents great value for money. Interestingly I find that I spend very little time thinking about the Evo now - I just get on and use it. I think this is because it has few quirks to trouble my elderly peabrain :) . In short it's a valuable addition to any vaper's armoury, and on reliability alone I have to rate it very highly indeed! :thumb:
