Ok all who are tired of my goofy questions quit reading now. Are they gone? good. ha
I am checking to see if different types of e cigs are interchangable with one another? I started with the joy ego and from all of my reading on here there are about nine thousand six hundred and fifty three different brands of pv ? I would like to try some of the products with the other companies just to compare with the excellent product/service I get from wordup but do not want to have to buy a whole new setup just to try another brand/type?
Now you can tell all those people who ran off when they saw it was me again they can come back.
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Okay, ANYTHING that says "510" on it will work with your Joye eGo battery. Any 510 atomizer, any 510 cartomizer, any 510 LR atty or carto.... The 510 refers to the threading on the battery. As long as the threading is the same, pretty much anything from any vendor will work. AND....other things will work if you buy an ADAPTER. For instance, you could use KR808 cartomizers on your 510 eGo if you buy an adapter. That's the bottom line. Does that help? Is that what you are asking?

EDIT: You can buy adapters lots of places. Liberty-flights has lots of them, and so do alot of other places. And...they're cheap.

That answers my question perfectly, thank you. Sometimes this stuff gets me so confused I get to thinking I have gone stupid. then I realize nope, that already happened.

LOL. It's so confusing at first. It'll start clearing up. The more you're here, the clearer it will get. I've been vaping for a little over 7 months, and I'm still learning new stuff every day. BUT...I also amaze myself sometimes at how much I've learned. Let me just say something else, though. The eGo you have is a really good pv, so you started with one of the best. I understand curiosity, but I think you'll probably find that nothing else you experiment with is going to beat it. The 510 models (particularly the eGo) are some of the most popular for a reason. They're good, reliable, easily accessible....just good. You can buy 510 stuff (attys/carts/cartomizers/batteries) at thousands of different places. So....going the adapter route may not be necessary. If you could tell me what it is that you're itching to try that you haven't, we could talk more about what to get and where to look for it.

EDIT: P.S.....I see we're the same age, and we're neighbors....I'm just up the road in Oklahoma. :)

Not really itching to try anything special, I am just a worrier and get to wondering if one company goes out of business or decides to sell a different product what would I do. I used to be normal but my wife taught me to worry. haha
Oklahoma huh? Have you managed to thaw out yet? We missed five days of work this month re ice/snow. did not bother me since I get paid either way.

Yes, we're thawing. It was nearly 70 today. Amazing. I teach school and we had 9 snow days in a row! It was amazing. I couldn't move my car out of the driveway for 6 days! Thank God I had stocked up on food! It was nice to have the time off, though, and I also get paid anyway. Nice little vacation. I teach at a college, so we don't even have to make up the snow days like public schools do. Double bonus. :)

I used to be normal but my wife taught me to worry. haha

I had to laugh....it is opposite in my house...my hubby is the worry wart.....I just let it roll and deal with it if and when...lol MUCH less stress that way and no bp probs.....:)

But I am with you on all the different pv "stuff" out there.....still trying to wrap my mind around it all (not to mention sort my notes...hehehe....and it really gets interesting (and a bit of knowledge envy) when you get into the modders threads.....I love learning all kinds of new stuff, but that just gets me spinning!!!:)

It also got me seeing all the places that had their own brand and not knowing what it really is.....for instance, I have a Volcano and a Magma e-cig and had no idea when I got them what they were comparable to....luckliy the Magma is a 510 (thanks ECF fam for that tid bit:)) and I have other options for it.

HOld on oldfatguy, When you started you confirmed that you were using a JOye 520, different from a Joye 510 or an eGo.

It's this one, right?: Wordupecig 520 Mega Compact kit

Gimme a sec and I'll try to find something compatible......

Yes that is the one? I was told on some other post that the 510 and 520 with kin to each other, (cousins or something) and the cartomizers etc would work on either one? But I thought this was an ego? Guess I gotta do some more checking before I post? Maybe change my screen name to olddumbguy? ha
PS, I would not do that re my wife might get on here and agree with me?

Also have not been on forum a lot past week re been sick with sinus infection, maybe from quitting analogs? Today is my fifth day without an analog. Maybe my body is mad at me?

LOL! well, she's just trying to let you be right once in a while. J/K!!

You have the Joye520, so that's like a step up from the standard Joye510. It's similar to a 510 with XL batteries.

You can use any of the 510 threaded stuff with your Joye520, but NOT all the eGo stuff -- for example; don't try to charge your batteries on an eGo charger and don't buy eGo cartomizers. Pretty much anything else you buy will fit it though (although if you get the tankomizer for it, it'll look sort of funny).

I'm so glad it's working for you so far! I don't know that a sinus infection would be a result of detox, but it wouldn't be impossible to imagine it. Your body will be mad at you for a little while and you can expect to bring up a lot of phlegm and et al for a while -- even mimicking flu symptoms -- but it'll go away pretty soon.

happy vaping! :)
