Intermediate PV?

I suppose they could be called intermediate, though they are probably approaching the norm for new entrants.

They provide a range of voltages, but usually not as much as the APVs do, and with less bell and whistles. Plus, they are still disposable.

I would not call them advanced. I don't call anything that is mass-produced a 'mod', either.

I guess it depends on what you call entry level. If you consider cig-a-likes the entry level then yeah these would be intermediate.

LucentShadow is correct, even though a lot of people call Vamo's, SVD's, and Provari's mods, they are doing so incorrectly. The word "mod" means modified. Just like with cars, if it's stock, it is not modified. Now if you took a SVD and made it look like Dath Vader's lightsaber then it could be called a mod. If you took the guts out of a Vamo and made it a mech then it would be a mod. If you build a PV from scratch in your garage, that is a mod. Mass produced, stock devices are really just PV's.
