Hey guys,

Been a while since I've been on here as I've been super busy with work and what not. I've come to you for some advice as I'm kind of moving toward an intermediate level (meaning I've been doing this for 2-3 months and want to try some new stuff)

As it stands right now, I have 2 V2 batteries(kr 808-d1's I believe), one auto and one manual, I enjoy both of them but I actually prefer the auto more. I'm looking into getting a new battery or 2. I was thinking about maybe trying a 510 style though. Does anyone have any input as to whether or not 510's are better than the 808d1's? I'd probably just get another regular "mini" model since fat batt's and huge things like that aren't really my style.

Also, I've gotta order some new cartomizers when I get new juice. Does anyone have any advice as to whether or not a clearomizer is advisable or a drip tip or things of that nature. Is there really that big of a difference between them and regular carto's?

If anyone can point me in the right direction as far as products, links, vendors, etc It'd be much appreciated. I feel like there's tons of info out there for new comers but less so for people looking to make the next step.

Hi Byrnes, the numbers really just describe the threading. So there are KR808-d1 minis and fatt batts, 510 minis and fatt batts. I'd check out the reviews section of the forum. I don't know of any well recommended 510 minis. There are a some well recommended 808s tho. You could get an 808 to 510 adapter if you want to use 510 cartos, clearos etc.

The next step up would be an ego Twist. It has variable voltage to be able to use different cartos with tanks or clearomizers.

Their is a new Vision Vivi Nova mini version 2.5 that would work good on the ego. You would just need a little adaptor cone to put on top of the ego battery for looks. The ego has 510 threads so the Nova or carto and DCT tanks would work great.

The batteries and either tank or Nova would more than last all day and be a nice step up.

I started out with V2's as well and when I stepped up I went with eGo Twists. They were perfect for where I was in my vaping experience. Very easy to grasp and got me into VV territory which eventually got me to my Provari. I enjoyed my Twists and thought they were great mods. You can get the 650 mah which is not big or bulky at all.
