I have been reading and learning as much as possible, for the past two weeks. I must admit there were times I truely was lost.(lol)

I smoke about 2 pks a day, on average and after all the info I decided on and ordered the Mega Ego T to start.

Only Questions I have are:
How durable are these things? (I have destroyed numorous cell phones includeing a G'zone) in my line of work.
Is there insurance for the more expensive ones? (Like the Proveri) not realy worried about the Ego
Do you think progressive would insure a proveri?

Can't believe no one has responded to you yet. The eGo is extremely durable ... but if you drop it in the toilet or throw it off a 2 story building ... it will probably not work any longer. Me thinks you are pulling our legs ... but if not ... no, my new little almost-vaper ... insurance will not cover any e-cig. But maybe some of the individual supplier warranties will ease your mind. Chill out and dive in ... the water's fine!

If I had a provari or expensive mod I would save that not for the job site but perhaps for my home only or going out (people do that!?!) use. My egos though right now go everywhere but family outings with me and I am tough on things also and have yet to kill one! Congrats on your choice I think you will like it and who knows maybe you can find someone to insure a mod (with the price of a few of em tell em you drive it!) Welcome to the ECF :)

LilyBear it only seems like I'm following you around :)

GA, a nice Fat Batt model like KGO, eGo or Riva are tough and vape well. One of those kits a couple of packs of empty cartomizers and lots of small sample-sized juices to try is all ya need. Once you've hit a month or two a Provari would be a fabulous anniversary gift to yourself. It all sounds harder than it is. Fill a cartomizer (filter-looking thing) with juice, screw it onto the battery, take a long, slow pull, exhale. You're vaping. You can do it. Beginning is half done. Welcome!

Most vendors on this site sell products they are proud of. But there are some duds in every bunch, and usually the vendors stand behind it. Batteries will be the issue with most units, and so some of the higher prices units have replaceable batteries which make the units last longer. I am not sure about Provari, but Great Lakes Vapors has a lifetime guarantee on their e-cigs, and probably some other high-end vendors do also.

There are actually some "holster" types such as one for that small flip phone (cant remember the name but its very slim width and tall) that might serve that on your belt type need look around at cases for cells. Also most of us here are now mail person type stalkers!! The mail lady here is about used to seeing me trot out as she drives up, got lucky today got my mrs t's juice but still waiting on several things *sigh* so this is not unusual for a vaper.
