What are the dimensions?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in DEES. Pls find the below details of DEES.

Key Note:
DEES is hand-turned rather than CNC lathe. Each top and bottom cap is uniquely belong to each kit. Due to hand-turned production is restricted, and pls do expect a little rough finish to the device. But we can assure that all materials used is high and premium grade.

- All battery contacts made out of pure copper
- Adjustable center copper pin to suit almost all different length of 510 threading
- Bottom soft firing switch. Calculated load spring to ensure device would not fire even there's no locking in place
- Clockwise locking mechanism for easy locking

Dimensions:
- Outer diameter(OD): 22mm
- Inside diameter(ID): 18mm
- Tube thickness: 2mm
- Height on 18490 Setup: 90mm
- Height on 18350 Setup:75mm
- Weight without 18490 battery: 150gm
- Weight with 18490 battery: 182gm
- Weight without 18350 battery: 105gm
- Weight with 18350 battery: 128gm

Many Thanks,
ecgee

I too would like to hear from Dees users... especially the latest ones.

ecgee, I did try a short turn to the right (clockwise) with a pliers, to get the pos pin a little higher... so far it hits the drippers, which most of have that solid pos botton pin. Still cant get my Cobra genesis, Penelope, or DID geni to fire.

But you know what? if i dedicate the Dees to drippers, I'm happy with that.

I know some can't afford a different device for each type of atomizer so this is something to think about, and i may still stumble upon my solution... i just don't want to damage anything in there (pos. pin threading), but anyway this is a very cool device!

sorry for HUGE photos...i like the patina... 'cause i don't like polishing :)

Hi Uke, Thanks for taking time posting up the pictures and voice out your concerns. Appreciate that.

I guess this is due to different length of 510 threading, and since DEES is not telescopic, tolerance to adjust the center pin is quite small.

I can send you extra pin with top cap but the possible issue is I am worried the replacement top cap would not fit the tube, as DEES is hand-turned and threading is unique to each tube.

Another option is I can ship you a brand new DEES, and you can ship back your current one once you received the replacement.

These options is only available for 1st batch DEES international order. We are improving that part and hopefully no more such issue in the future.

Pls let me know which option best suit you and I will arrange accordingly.

Apologized for the trouble.

Thanks,
ecgee/Lua

Thank you ecgee Lua, for the offer.
Yes please send me a replacement.

I am so happy I don't have to send it to you first, as I am using the Dees mod, it is a favorite.
It feels good in the hand and the button is trouble free and smooth; sits up without firing unlocked, hits hard, is beautiful too.
I prefer this design of mod (fixed) vs. a tele which can get wobbly with all its tube lengths and adjustments.

This problem is something that many vapers have trouble understanding in a lot of fixed mech devices lately; the relationship between fitting the atomizer connector to the mod, and on other side of top connector, to the battery positive side. Including me.
A more flexible top contact is highly desirable, as the most favored battery, AW IMR, are not consistent in lengths.

So you have made my day ecgee!

Yes please send a replacement with instructions for return mail for my unit.

Hi Uke, Agreed with you. Most of the time we are having problem trying to fit all 510 threading into non-telescopic mech mod without sacrificing firing performance. This is due to different length from many other different manufacturers.

Ok noted. I will PM you to double confirm your shipping address, and instructions on return back your unit.

Happy vaping my friend!

Many Thanks,
ecgee/Lua

This is a great mod... i really like the bottom button; very easy to fire with pinkie yet will stand up unlocked without worry; easy.
I like to fire it with the knuckle of my pinkie finger.
Great thick brass tube but just the right diameter; good feel, and the 500 size is just right.

Its got it all; copper contacts for good hit, adjustable contacts; fits the AW 18490 like it was made for it; no rattle at all.

Looks great too.

happy camper :)

can't wait for V2 top cap. Thanks Lua!
