Phone guy, wait for Phil Busardo's review for the Pipeline Pro. I have a feeling it's gonna be a winner. German made, fires up to 20 watts, fires 0.7 ohm coils, and beautifully made.
I dunno, one button operation. 2 Digit LED display? I think I'd rather use my Vamo V3 (or a V5)... :( The DNA is so much more convenient, information easy to see, power adjust buttons so you don't have to click through menus. I would have bought a Provari a long time ago if it had an OLED screen with power adjust buttons.

I have a Provari, so I don't mind the screen or the one button design so much. The rest of the device is absolutely beautiful in my opinion. The only thing spec-wise I don't like about the Pipeline is that it doesn't have an adjustable pin, but I can live with that. Either way, excited to hear what Phil thinks.

Phil has been traveling too much, it feels like we've barely seen him (via his videos) recently. The one thing that does interest me, purely because I'm curious, is the AC power (versus the usual DC). But in the end I won't be buying one for the reasons I stated above. I am OCD about my mods and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The Futura, of all the mods out there comes the closest currently to my criteria for an APV I'd pay this much money for. Someday I hope one comes closer! And this is probably pretty sad sounding to most people out there but the perfect mod for me would be a DNA controller in a stainless steel Vamo tube. (with maybe an added adjustable or spring loaded 510 pos pin).

Jon's hooking me up, nice guy, responded within a few hours of emailing him; instantly to my responses.

Took about a week to get it all fixed up. Top cap is perfect now, very fast turn around on the repair. Couldn't be happier with the device. Looks great, vapes great. :2cool:

Hi , guys my friend has purchased for me a futura ( birthday gift) however, it has been almost 2 months, and it still hasnt been shipped out yet. Moreover every email ( sent by me and him) are both being unanswered. Im just trying to figure out what is happening as this is some really crappy customer service!
honestly, my fast tech orders, have already arrived and i ordered them like 2 weeks after my friend placed the order for a futura..

Make sure you're not getting his replies marked as spam. The one's I got were from a yahoo address. Did you contact him via their contact form or email directly? Tried sending a PM on the forums? He's the first post in this thread.

I'd be surprised if he ever get's on. Judging from his history of timely return emails, the chances of him returning an ECF PM seem slim to none. You'd think he would keep his thread updated if he did ever get on. A couple things can be gathered from this thread though, the Futura is a quality APV, BUT, NexGen customer service is lacking pretty badly. I ordered Feb 2nd, I'm holding out for a bit longer - just depends how much you want a DNA30 Futura I guess? Good luck! Keep us updated.

In case anyone had the same issue as I did:

My Futura DNA30 kept turning itself off and back on after firing it. It didn't happen every time, but enough to piss me off. I tried the other spring that came with it, stretching out the spring as well. It seemed to help for a bit, but it kept coming back. I knew it wasn't my battery, as i had tried several. I came to the conclusion my unit  may be raised a bit more then it should be. On the pin where the serial number is (to protect from reverse battery). I turned the spring upside down.....no issues anymore.

I agree. Considering the number of angry customers that have been posting here, I'm thinking he's going to avoid the forums for awhile.

I guess I'm just prettier than you guys. :D :D

That's not been my experience. I ordered, waited some amount of weeks (not a surprise), finally got a ship notice, it got shipped (not by the time USPS expected), it arrived within a week of the notice, it was messed up; I contacted him, got a response within 4 hours, I sent it back, got it back a week later.

Hopefully it'll all work out.
