Did you get the 510 only cap? Mine is a little wonky too, I just sent Jon a message. It looks like the 510 threads are off by a little bit. CNC machining error with the axis of the threaded hole, about 1-2mm off so it doesn't fit flush. It'd be hard to see with a regular carto, but is very obvious with my Russian with pretty tight tolerances, obvious with a Kanger protank3 and not as much with a Tobeco clone with looser threads.

Actually I have the 510+Ego cap and it's fine - I didn't notice that the adjustment of the center pin *requires* the included Allen wrench (ugh!). Once I made the proper adjustment the KFL+, and every other device I adjust for, sit flush. Been vaping on it for the past week and so far it performs fine. So far, no major issues - just minor gripes.

Wich tanks are you guys using on your futuras? I like my KF`s but only for on the go. I mostly use micro`s and cotton and when I push the watts I can`t seem to get a consistent wicking. After say 10 drags, I have to "help" it wicking otherwise it becomes dry-ish. That is even with my provari so nothing over 15. So when I want to do some chainvaping on higher Watts I use something with a juice-control like tha penelope or aqua. I have a Rose coming and just ordered an Estia too. Does anyone have the same problem or are there people who can chainvape a KF at 25 Watts?

I had the same problem at first with KF at watts higher than 15 to 18. I learned less is more when it comes to cotton. I make sure my cotton strands are running the same direction, I don't roll it which compresses it to much, and I use very little. 10 wrap, 28g, 1.57 ID. Now my builds on KFs can do 25 or 30.

Well I'm happy to have my DNA back.. no wonky 510 threads, but that's because it arrived once again with the eGo+510... Rocker switch is perfect now yay!, and the positive pin is connected to the DNA board again yay!. so they fixed the issues which I'm happy about but, still no 510 only, and I asked for a new tube section that got damaged, was willing to pay, but it arrived back with the scraped up tube section again even though they said I could get a new one..

Wish wish wish, so much, that they could get their customer service worked out.

It's just so frustrating. The APV is a quality device, but the administrative issues they (or he) is having are terrible. They need a person there keeping things on track, keeping a ticket system in place to keep people in line and get things finished in order and in a timely fashion. It could be so easy if they had someone doing customer service/customer relations keeping things in check. But they're killing their image (or have already done so) with the poor communication and the promises that aren't kept..

AT least when living in the US you can follow the progress. Here in EU you just get a customs number as "proove" it did actually ship. And it is possible it takes two weeks to get here but some of you guys ordering after me here in Europe allready received yours so that`s frustrating but I guess I`ll just chill it out for the last weeks and cross the fingers that everything will be sorted. It will probably arrive roughly the same time as my Rose so that`s the atty I wanted to use the futura for anyhow.

If I can just get a replacement tube section, I'll he happy again. if I can't perhaps I'll find a way to refinish the tube I dunno. I had my Futura fly off the seat in my truck while avoiding being part of a pileup on the highway this winter. It hit the seat frame while flying and chipped a chunk of cerakote off of the PV, as well as scratched it up a bit but the damage was confined to just the 18350 tube section. I've been told twice I could get a new tube section (it's just basic titanium) but so far have been unsuccessful in actually getting my hands on it (I am willing to pay!). I think I might email that other guy and see if I can get some better results!?
