Well one plus side about no video and no pictures is that they are probably hard at work getting these out. There are still quite a few nice pictures up for you guys to see whether it is your style or not. The video that was promised is my only gripe. I have however already ordered as this looks to me to be the best looking tube dna20 mod that is relatively affordable. I have been on enough lists and pre-orders to know that ETA's and promises are rarely met, this is a shame but is to be expected for some reason.

The only photos I can find are of the "contoured" and "tapered" 510-Ego top caps. Could we see pictures of the device with the "tapered 510" (510-only) top cap? I'd like to see the drip well and air channel configuration, and what the device profile looks like with it. Thanks.

I'll have pics of the 510-only cap in a day or so. Basically it's much like the tapered cap, only shorter.

I'd asked over a month ago to see the 510-only top cap, and was told there'd be pics "in a day or so"... still nothing :(

That's what concerns me about this whole situation. There are things this company can't control, like when certain parts are going to be ready from a second party, or when someone is going to review their product. But the things he can control, pics, videos, have been empty promises for awhile now.

You are making the assumption that the top caps are not one of the parts they are waiting for. And while I too would love more pics and to see a video, I also recognize that the priority for them is likely sourcing all the parts and assembling the devices. I'd rather they spend their time getting me my device sooner than having a photo shoot. I do fully agree he should stop saying he's going to post something "today" and then not do it, but I'm just much more concerned about getting the device soon vs seeing a few pics and vids.

I do see where you are coming from but i dont think technology has changed for the worse. Since i last checked, a 3min video takes 3min to record. Im not going to get too emotionally invested in this wait. I have done that before and no one wins. It will happen when it happens.

That's not to point. Getting no pics or vid is ok. Announcing pics and vid and never releasing them is... worrying?
Is that, so long to take 2 pics and a smartphone vid? Or is there something not ready wich is not the colour of the tubes ?

Did Pbusardo finally gets his production device ?

And this is why I haven't preordered. I get that externalities can affect a delivery date, but I'm not giving over my credit card information if I can't see a vendor fulfill a simple promise like providing some pictures. How long does that take? I had to take a few pics and a quick video for a charity I volunteer with yesterday. They were done and uploaded in 15 minutes. They don't have to be professional quality for the website. If they are waiting on parts for production, then it's not like taking a little time to do this is slowing things down.

I don't want to insinuate that that LCV is being shady or anything. I really have no idea. He seems really nice and friendly. I've just learned to be cautious dealing with smaller or less established businesses online. I've been burned a couple of times so I get twitchy about it. I'm sure I'm not alone. That's why it's important in a new venture like this to be really transparent and reliable. Trust is essential. If people are going to shell out a couple hundred bucks for a premium mod, they want to know the vendor will stand by their product. If something goes wrong and they send it in for repair, they don't want to hear weeks later that they just couldn't get around to it.

Do any of you guys remember the juice box wait list? It was some years back so any of you that have been vaping strong back then would know exactly what I'm talking about. It was super hyped. It was supposed to be this revolutionary concept & this was before an atomizer had ever been rebuilt by a consumer and you could only get crappy 510's or 510 cartos, 801s, 901, etc and then there was this much acclaimed "juice box." I think I waited 6 months for it searching the thread daily, lol.

I bring this up not to make any comparison of the two devices whatsoever. Just a memory of intensely waiting for a mod which recent posts in this thread reminded me of, lol! I forgot all about that thing.

I own a fair few mods and the only one i have ever had to wait for was the Super t ELA - All others were available the moment i wanted them. Now RBA's on the other hand, well i have had to wait many a month for them. Whinging and moaning is part of the waiting game, along with the screaming of "Wheres my pics?" and "Wheres my videos". I am sure LCV will take it in his stride and keep on building.

Wheres my video!
