Nice idea.. But copper..???
YouTube - Copper Toxicity

As I said, we are putting an extra plastic inlay into the device, so the copper material won't touch the e-liquid.
I have additional info about this from my partner (he manufactures the HELL'omizer™).
He says:

"For all of you who have concerns about using copper for e-cig parts:
Most of you are ALREADY inhaling e-juice which is directly touching copper surface or which is soaking in copper all day long.
- Most commercial atomizers in the market have copper connections. (I mean: the atomizer connector is made of copper)
Not just the outside of the atty connection is made of copper, but the inside too!
So if you're just using an average commercial atty, then your e-juice is already soaking on copper surface all day long.
- also most regular e-cig batteries have copper atty connectors. When you overdrip your atty just a little bit, it leaks out of the atty-hole and touches the copper surface of the battery. Then you suck it back into the atty, when you take a draw again.
- also many e-cig mods with juice feeding systems (I mean bottom-feeders) have copper rings on the top of the device to catch the juice. The liquid soaks in there for hours... sometimes for days. Then your atty sucks back the juice to re-use it (and the atty also have a copper connector).
So even with bottom-feeder e-cig mods with copper rings on the top... or if you just use average 510 attys or whatever... your juice is in direct contact with copper surface all day long".

This is what he said (I translated it for you). I think he's right, isn't he?
But still... as I said we're putting an extra plastic inlay into our device, which makes the e-juice unable to touch copper surface.

I can't buy that as a solid answer when these and other Attys like this are currently made from Stainless steel. Why even think about copper when these could be made from stainless steel.?? just because you have a supply of copper ? this copper subject has been debated on the ECF already numerous times and Copper is a NO GO, I also don't think you will have to many customers wanting to use this Atty if built from copper especially once they do some reading about copper and vaping from it. Think about stainless steel if you want to be more successful with your product would be my thoughts here on this, I'm only trying to give constructive support

Dear mwa102464,

Please do not mention other suppliers on this thread. That is against ECF rules!
I don't feel your support constructive, neither friendly.
Just because you don't like something personally you shouldn't say bad things about it.
Why does copper bother you if we put a plastic inlay into the device to hold the juice? Copper will never touch the E-liquid.
So why does copper bother you? Don't you like its color or something?
Sorry but I don't feel your intentions honest. Especially after mentioning other suppliers and products here, mentioning they are better than our product. Please stop doing that, whatever is your true reason.
Thank you.

Sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or break any ECF rules by naming similar products as examples. I am just concerned over the use of a copper built Atty since there has been so much discussion about copper in the past on the ECF and how it could be dangerous. I wont post again in your thread, again sorry if it bothered you I was only looking out for the vaping communities health. I didnt say any product was better or worst than your product again only concern is about using copper to build an Atty.

So to answer you question, Copper is not safe to vape from and have liquids sitting inside of it and touching it and vaping like this, it's a fact.

Secondly I have nothing personal against you or your product other than the use of copper. ! I think you have a great idea by the way, just not copper.

Constructive criticism is hard to deal with and take sometimes but it is valuable information so I'm not affraid to give it or take it, it's a good thing in both instantces.

First it was just copper, once I posted my thoughts it changed to copper with a plastic lining, my question is why copper still ? why not stainless steel which would be a much safer product to build this from.??

Sorry but I'm with mwa on this one, no thanks. Best of luck to you in your venture.

We'll see what we can do. I'll discuss a possible stainless steel version with my business partner.
But I'm quite sure about that... changing the entire base-material will lengthen the process with weeks, or even with MONTHS.
It's not very easy to simply switch material just like you switch a drip tip. We'll see.
We'll do everything to make you happy.

I guess this would entail changing your cutter blades and setting up for stainless steel and a material change. Demon I want you to know that I only posted what I did to help you not to hurt you, if it wasn't myself someone else with the knowledge I have from being around for a while would have also have told you the same thing as I. I have been investigating raw metals for sometime now and what is safe and what isn't. Pretty much unless your going to use something like Gold which I'm sure your not because it's not cost effective, a High Grade of Stainless steel is going to be your absolute best material to make your Hellomizer out of.! Again, I'm only trying to help and I am on your side with this, you have a good looking product from what I see of it and I'm sure it's design works very well or you wouldnt be introducing it to us, but all in all only trying to help

As there are very few copper colored mods out there, and many stainless steel and aluminum mods, I would think that from an aesthetic point of view stainless steel would look so much better.

Well as I mentioned earlier we'll find a solution to solve this problem.
I believe in the "customer is always right" thing, so I don't want to (wouldn't even try to) force on you anything what you don't like.

1 - We'll find a solution to make the same thing with stainless steel material.
2 - We won't sell this copper version.
3 - if stainless steel is impossible for us to manufacture (I mean: to work with), then I'll close this thread. I don't want to waste anybody's time without reason.

Until then, please wait and have patience.
We are working on the solution.

Yes... also there are many more problems. It's not an easy thing to switch.

I believe that. And thank you.

Thank you for that too. It's kind of you.

So in a nutshell:

As I said the "customer is always right" (we believe in that).
Right now I'm updating the original first post and switching the material to stainless steel.
Let's see what we can do with it.
Forget about the original copper idea.
Stainless steel is the actualy project from this moment.
If we'll be able to do it and work with it, then everybody gonna be happy.
If we fail... then I'll close this thread to not waste your time with a "dead-end" idea.
So I'll keep you all updated.
Subsribe to this thread and come back for the news if you want.
Thanks to everybody for the kind posts and and I'm updating this thread with new infos of the progress ASAP.

Wishing you the best of luck....I like the look of it...pretty cool!
*crossing fingers*

Thank you! All the little devils and Demons are working on it.
If there IS a WAY to solve this problem (compared to our possibilites here in this country) we'll find the best solution for sure. We won't let anybody down.
We are not those kind of guys.
