You can do friends and family but have no recourse if something goes wrong but it is an option. If you go through the invoicing methods you will have to pay a fee, friends and family no fee. If you invoice just make sure you price it appropriately so you do not lose margin by paying that fee.

I have no issues with you sending me your information and I will PP you the money or since you are local I will pick it up and hand you cash.

I don't really care about the fees. Just want a method that is easy, safe (won't get shut down or have the funds frozen), and sustainable (can be used in the long run as opposed to just a one time thing).

So as long as I do the invoicing method on Paypal and don't mention e cigs I should be fine then? What do most other vendors use? I remember buying vape gears from online shops and using Paypal.

You can't do friends/family for the sale of goods. You have to honestly indicate it is a sale, but obfuscate any ecig related aspects. Typically they are listed as flashlights, parts, or etc.

Is this how other vendors do it too?

What if in the future I am no longer an offline supplier but have my own website. Would there be additional payment methods available then? Or is the vape industry frowned upon by Paypal and other credit card processing companies as well?

Those without merchant accounts, yes. Once you upgrade your account, you can sell via a website.

Thanks. By "merchant account" you guys mean business account right? Because I do have a Paypal business account that I plan to use.

For the initial batch of Mymod, it's probably the simplest to just have buyers pay me via Paypal (actual purpose, not FF) but just don't mention e cigs anywhere. Would you agree?

Suggestion: Invoice everything, as I request to be paid. Do not allow random payments and for god's sake do not accept friends and family. Once PP is gone it requires a lot of creativity to get it back.
Just a warning from someone that's been there, done that on a large scale.

The suppliers shipped out everything, and I'm going to spend the next few days gathering some miscellaneous material to get ready for the assembly. Things like tubes, bottles, etc...
when do you think we should get ready for shipments to begin, just want to prepare funds?

Juice - especially high VG - most definitely thickens and requires a more patient squonk when it's cold.
It'll still flow, just slower.
With the very soft bottles I've been using, you kind of learn to press gently and WAIT a moment anyway (rather then pressing HARDER like I used to with the stiffer bottle) so it's easy to just hold a little longer.

A side question: do you guys ever having trouble squonking when it's very cold outside? Like when you are skiing or something?
