What about the battery negative? Is it a spring or is it bonded to the mod? I just want to avoid brass if at all possible.

It's a spring, but no one said anything about what material they prefer, so I guess it's not too important. Either spring steel or copper is what I'm thinking.

There is no brass part whatsoever in the mod.

This is sort of an unrelated question. But has anyone ever tried a rda with the air hole(s) on the top? How does the flavor compare with a traditional side air hole? (with everything else like chamber size being the same)?
Surprisingly goid performance. Try one. I'm a vape weirdo, but the Rogue is in my top 3 atties, period...

I actually just ordered the Manta v2 last week I should have it by Monday Paul I'll let you know...... I saw that you were using a rm2 to test out the mod...... So unless you really opened up the afc.......you're a MTL'r like myself. So I'll let you know when I throw a build in it... I like a resistrictive lung hit...... I'm into flavor over huge air and bland cloud's. Tbh I wouldn't even mind if there weren't any visible cloud.

I have a Vector and wasn't too impressed... too much air flow... Doesn't restrict enough for my style of Vaping.... . It's a cloud chaser atty Imo .... And currently *FOR Sale ☺. if anyone is interested..... pm me.

My experience is with non-bottom fed so, take that into consideration. I got a Vector a couple of weeks ago and for flavor it's rivalling the Marquis and Magma and Royal Hunter. I don't need/want a tremendous amount of air and I can close this one down tight if I want. It beats the Magma and is comparable to some extent the Marquis with no leaking. I got another Vector from the classies that's been modded by Chowderhead awaiting use on the blue (and possibly red too) MyMod that's just over the horizen.

I also got a Manta V2 the other day but haven't built on it yet.

I think top air holes are hopping up in popularity.

if it's part of the circuit, it's important. BeCu for all but the positive pin. It conducts well, it's springy (?), and maintenance is minimal.

For atties with top air holes, how does the ease of building coil compare to side air hole atties? For atties with side air holes, it's easy for me to line up the coil with the airhole by simply adjusting the height of the coil.

If single coil, put it in the path of exit, under the drip tip and as high up as you can without concern of short.

I was doing the Vector tonight. Dual coil 26ga 3mm .60 ohms 31 watts on SX Mini M with rayon. I probably could've pulled them out towards the edge a little more. But the flavor is really good and I dig the airflow options.

I haven't done a single coil setup yet. Thanks for the tip!

That's good advice. I saw someone else build it that way too.

Just out of curiosity, what if you do not put the single coil under the drip tip? What if you put it under the air hole? I would imagine the vape would suffer if the height of chamber is large, since the air might not get to the coil. It might be still okay if the height of the chamber is small, so that the coil is directly underneath the air hole.

I suppose it would depend on how many airholes. If only one, I can see your idea working very well.

I kinda want to do a promotion at this stage. Price range will be between $100-$125, depending on how much I sell by Xmas, because that's when I plan to ship. Making a profit is not my number one priority at this point. More important is becoming an established, trusted supplier. However, there are some fixed cost I need to cover.

There is also this bottom feeding SS RDA I've developed that I want to bundle with the mod. It's pretty distinctive and I'll show you guys the concept this weekend. Perhaps I'll just offer an option of adding the atty for a few bucks more, just as a thanks to those who supported me from now to Xmas.
Does the 100-125 dollar price range still stand at this point? What range are you thinking of?

Lol. Along with sarcasm, did I mention I miss condescension as well? Lol. Jk element. I'm just trying to see if it's within means right now. I just had some stuff come up and need to micromanage my budget right now.
