As it always is with my luck. I just spent my weekly wad and viola, 2 minutes later, THE GRIFFIN IS BACK IN STOCK!!!!!! To make matters worse, as if,....there was only 19 left. Eric, I know, I know, just drop us a line on the next order of Griffins ETA with the damned holiday delays and all. GRUNT GRUNT GRUNT!!!! I really NEED (ya right) everything I just ordered so, maybe next go round. I just want to stock up on a few more Griffins so on those long off season winter nights I will have something to practice on until I achieve perfection. again, as if.............Practice makes perfect right? That's what I told myself on those long winter nights when I was 13.

Eric .. Did you try any DCT or carto tanks ... Maybe there's a size that fits ? I won't mind getting a DCT to make a clear window for the Griffin...

Can some one check cos I don't have a DCT or carto tank to try this ....

Just an idea
I tried a few tanks but not the 3.5ml DCT, will see and give it a shot, I remember holding some up to it and nothing fit.

Damn, waited too long. They're out of stock on the site. Any idea when you're getting more in?

back in stock for a limited time.

sorry, I found out that I had a miscount, so put the remainder back online.
The next shipment won't be until at least the 10th as they get back from Holiday the 6th and I am sure they will be LOADED with orders due to the popularity of this item.

I think by the end of October they will be everywhere.
But by then I should have plenty plus some more options. :)

Got mine, thanks!

In memory of those long lost cartoons of old,..."I will gladly pay you next Tuesday for a Griffin or three today". Good to hear that you will most likely be flooded with them by the end of October. I dread to think what those "Other Guys" will charge for them when they are everywhere. I saw one site yesterday that had the Phoenix clone on their site. They first put it at $7.99, an hour later it was $8.99. Now it's $9.99. I thought maybe it was like a bar promotion, the later it gets the more expensive the drinks get. Now I am thirsty.

BTW Eric. I am finally going to do my juice to alcohol kit from Think Geeks, GOD I LOVE THOSE GUYS. I ordered a bunch of stuff last week and now I have two kits, that's 6 gallons of hooch. YeeeHaaaw! Some dead brain cells in my future for this weekend.

got mine today.it was missing the allen wrench and screw for air hole.looks very nice for the price.pretty easy to get working.using 5 wraps on the coil i got 1.2 ohms.its a liitle bit too airy compared to a vivi nova but so far i get just the same vapor and flavor and little more throat hit.im still experimenting on voltages vaping angles etc.will come back for more observations.

drink it fast, it continues to ferment.. not so good after a week LOL

to be honest at the reate those sold I was tempted to raise the price but only for a picosecond.

Don't bother, the 3.5ml DCT is too small. The 5ml DCT is too big.

thank you :)

do you have parts you can use?.. email me if you need replacements.

I feel like an ... now, I told someone the other day we checked all packages for the wrench (still sent it to him) but now there are two? My eyes must be getting old.. really sorry about that.

Even THAT was too long. Remember, you have rep to keep up. Besides, some of us out here are recently poor. For a little while.

its ok,im good with the parts, unless im gonna need that air hole screw, most guys dont even use it right?

Update on performance;whenever i leave it for awhile it gives me one good hit, lots of vapor and flavor, but less on the next ones,so its probably a wicking issue, any ideas on how to improve this?i vape it on a 90 degree angle

You may want to look into the cotton wrap method. I saw a video by Quigsworth yesterday explaining the process. It eliminates shorts & improves wicking. Mesh/Cotton hybrid wick Bluegrasslover's method - YouTube

Just placed an order for one of these and the wyvern RBA. Been using Phoenix atty's for a few months and love them. Have used ss mesh in my Phoenix but this will be the first actual genesis style atty for me. Hopefully it all goes well then I may step up to a pricier set up. Looks like a solid atty though. Can't wait to try it out.

A tip for Griffin owners. In your kit there are 2 tube washers for the center pin that slides up center one for each end to keep it from making contact with the tank body. In my kit 1 had the top ring off the tube and the other was tore about to come off. I was afraid I was not going to be able to use it until I could order more, then I went to my parts box. I always save a few parts off thing I might be able to use later and I had saved some old cartomizers.

Pull the center pin . out carefully do not rip the tube washer, with pin out push the tube washer carefully up into the cartomizer and pull out .. from the top cut tube washer from bottom it is glued to the wicking tube so don't pull it cut it. Anyway it saved me and I am now enjoying my GRIFFIN. Can't wait to grab a few more.

You can also use a drip tip o-ring;) I accidentally washed mine down the drain when cleaning it the first time:ohmy: I was freaking out until I put that drip tip o-ring on and tried it. Works like a dream:)

You can use a cigarette rolling paper aswel ..like I do and no shorts issue with it.

I used this on my ss mesh in my Phoenix today. Works great. All the LR readings and E1 errors are gone. That was the only real headache I ever had using ss mesh on the provari. I'll definitely do this to the ss mesh when this griffin arrives. Seems to eliminate a lot of the fuss.
