Ok so i have been ordering from gotvapes for awhile now, but only recently have had much time to post on the forums, so first, hello all :) .

Second, i just got my vape mail from the fine folks at gotvapes, and one item was a black vapeonly. First impressions i have to say are pretty good I can easily see the appeal of the bottom coil design as it seems very position independant as opposed to something like the vivi, or other similar top coil clearos. Seems to give good flavor, Th, and clouds of vapor(with my 50/50 all day) and the 1.8 head attached.

It does seem to take 510 tips, but a few things i have noticed would be that some can be very loose, it does seem to me that i get the most flavor with the included tip which is likely do to it fitting perfectly into the tip slot, because as each tip i have used got looser the draw opened up the vapor cooled, and the flavor was somewhat diminished. Its possible that there are some tips that will fit this just as well as the standard, but i dont have one from what I tried.

Overall so far im pretty impressed and if this continues gojng like this, i could see this replacing my vivis as my goto clearos, but ill be interested in the consistency of how these heads perform overtime before i can say for sure. I just wish they had gone with abit tighter slot for drip tips, but thats pretty minor for now. Curious to see how other are taking to it to find out how much luck of the draw plays a factor in these.

We will have plenty after the CNY...which ends on the 17th. Then they need a couple of days to gear back up...

Is there any news on the availability and price of replacement heads for these?

I just received mine last night, and so far I'm very impressed. I'd like to know more about the ecosystem before I jump in fully and get a few more.

Reaper,
A little trick I learned a little while ago :)
Wrap the tip with plumber tape to make any tip fit snug :)
If you wrap it right, you wont see the tape and snugs the tip right on up.
The tape comes off easy when you want to take it off too :)
Plumber tape is real cheap if you don't have any.

I have seen the replacement heads at a few places, they are running about the same as a vivi nova 2.00-3.00 :)
Got vapes has the best deal on these tanks I have found and awesome customer service ;)

Got mine today. Have vaped about one tank of Liqua brand menthol 9mg. I'm using the head it came packed with on a Smok Gripper VV set at 3.4 v. It wicks and heats well. Not too much gurgle or wind noise. Easy to fill. HOWEVER...it's giving me a burnt taste consistently. It doesn't seem to go away even down at 3v. I know heads have to break in but this isn't making me very happy. I have just now switched it to a Joytech 18650 mod hitting on the standard setting and after about 8 to 10 draws the burnt taste has gone away. So, it appears it is just another non VV tank. This is disappointing to me because I had planned to use it on my Lambo but it won't draw at all on a Lambo becuse it sits too flush with the top of the mod. This is my experience so far. If things change I'll let you know.

A little tip I heard somewhere here on ECF....

I had that problem too on my Evic.
I took the airtube off and found it had 4 wicks overlaying the coil.
I took 2 off and put it back together and it works awesome.
No burnt or dry hits and consistant I went up to 5 volts on a 2.5 head and still no problems.
I had no problems up to 7 watts either :) The highest I personally can go without choking, LOL.
This is also a great fix for MT3s and T3s too. For us chain vapers ;)

Thanks! I'll look into that. I am indeed a chain vaper but the chains keep breaking the little plastic tanks!

Well folks after today, sadly it seems im going to have to a somewhat saddening update, yesterday when i had recived the vapeonly everything was going well but today it completely fell apart. When i had recived the vapeonly i immediately replaced the original head with the 1.8ohm, and things where good as previously stated, but today i started noticing a burnt taste which was somewhat subtle at first, but then got alittle worse, and then just pretty bad. So i cleaned out the tank, and tried the 2.2ohm head and that did not fire at all even after cleaning the connections, and the head being fit correctly. Two down in a day so i tried the final head, and all i got was straight burnt, smokey flavor.

So it does seem like these are going to he a luck of the draw sort of deal, i suppose i should not be surprised really but its so dissapointing when something works so well at first and then just collapses. This is just my experience as of now of course, but i still figured id let others know.

Sorry to hear your woes, Reaper. I had mine, too. However, on a happier note, I jumped in again to report that since I got mine off the Gripper VV and onto the EGO 18650 it has been cruising along like a champ. Nice vapor...very smooth and satisfying. I have to admit my earlier troubles were my own fault by not thinking. I assumed the highest ohm head was the factory-installed one. Had I realised it was only 2.2 ohm I'd have never expected it to perform well on a VV. I did notice one odd thing a while ago. I was chain vaping and hitting it pretty fast. It was doing well and nice clouds of vapor. Then, all of a sudden, it got weaker and weaker. I put it aside for a while and vaped some of my others, tried it again and it was fine. Do you think it was overheating? It didn't feel hot at all. I hope we can get some replacement heads in stock soon. I'm beginning to like this a lot!:thumb:

1 vapoeonly, a thin pg china juice , no issues at all. chain vaping huge clouds and taste, 3 tanks refilled.

another, 70/30 , using tribeca, works just fine, chain vapin, good vapor, i was told to remove one f the four strands, i removed one and it got even better with more vapor and i could hit it much harder, 4 tanks refilled, no leaks , no gurgling no issues,

another one filled with 60/40 vg pg, pretty thick, as thick as bobas and nhaler octane, good with stock, vaped well, not back to back but well. taste was good but not strong. removed a wick strand and boom, like a frieght train.

Tell us more about this wick strand removal, Bad. What exactly did you do?
