joyetech eVic Vapor Intelligent Cigarette VV/VW Upgradeable
$139.95 $99.95 Special Intro First Two weeks!

Introducing the joyetech eVic! eVic stands for Vapor Intelligent Cigarette. The emphasis here is on INTELLIGENT:

  • You can UPDATE the FIRMWARE on this unit at ANYTIME. Presently the latest firmware is 1.1, already installed. You can connect your eVic through your USB port and check and update your firmware at anytime here --> Upgrade Your Firmware Here (actual links on the product page). On that page you will also see a link to a video demonstration on updating your software/firmware.
  • You can download and install MVR software, My Vapor Record. This is software which creates more or less a black box record of your vaping activity ---> Install MVR Software (actual link on the product page). On that page you will also see a link to a video demonstration on installing and Using MVR software.

The eVic of course accepts 510, eGo, eGo-T, eGo-C atomizers as well as tank systems such as SMOKtech DCT/UDCT, Vision Vivi Nova, Vision Mini Vivi Nova, Vision CE4 style clearomizers.

Some Features of the Joyetech eVic:
  • Voltage ranges from 3.0 to 5.0 and wattage ranges from 5 to 11 watts, both in .1 increments. You simply twist the control head ring right or left to adjust.
  • Features an easy to read menu system that you can access by clicking the power button five times. It is all fairly self explanatory. For instance. To switch from VV to VW:
  1. Press the power button five times rapidly, you will see a menu system.
  2. Twist the ring at the base of the control head to find the 'Vapor Set' setting. Then simply press the power button once to choose.
  3. Then you can do the same thing to choose between VV and VW on the next submenu.
  • The eVic measures roughly 4.8 inches long with head and 18650 battery tube and base of contril head at by .9 inches wide.
  • With 18650 battery installed this weighs in at 4 oz.
  • You can use most any of the Joyetech 18650 or shorty 18350 eGo-T Mod tubes and also the upcoming Anyvape.
  • Built in USB charging port, which also doubles as connection to your computer for the upgradeable system software and configuring the unit with the MyVaporRecord Software (see above).
  • Protected batteries will not fit on this so you must use the included Sanyo 2600mah IMR or any of our eFest 18650 IMR or Panasonic IMR batteries, flat or button top.
  • Please read the very thorough documentation as it covers some pretty spiffy features such as: the eVic will provide you with suggested wattage after it measures your atomizers resistance, it also feattures a .... display you can set and many other actually very useful features such as removable drip well cap for easy cleaning. Explore the eVic!

What You Receive with the Joyetech eVic Starter Kit:
  • 1 eVic electronic cigarette Control Head and 18650 Battery Tube
  • 1 Samsung 2600mAh 18650 battery
  • 1 USB charging and firmware update cable
  • 1 110 VAC USB wall adapter (for charging in wall outlet)
  • 1 Fully Illustrated User manual in various languages
  • 1 MyVaporRecord software instructions

I know that many of y'all have waiting on this one and this is one heck of a good price!!! :D

My eVic came this morning and I’m liking it. The settings take a bit of getting used to, but downloading the MVR Software (the link on the GV page only links to the Bin file) was easy once you find it, then download the Bin file, follow the instructions and you’re set.

I’ve played around with the wattage and am final settling in at about 4.5w, but I like a smooth and cool vape. The ‘thumb-ring” is taking some getting used to, but it is convenient not to have a ‘hold this button for 3 seconds while pushing this button 2 times and swinging a dead chicken over your head in a clockwise rotation’. Navigating the menus and learning the setups looks more challenging than it really is. Once you get the initial settings there isn’t much to mess with. V1.1 of the eVic Firmware loads easily from the MVR software and displays voltage or wats on the main screen… easily moved up and down by the ‘thumb-ring’ while vaping.

The battery display on the main screen is nice, showing the remaining power in the cell and I’m sure that will help avoid the dead bat as soon as you get a ways down the road. Programing your own name and access to the serial number is another nice feature… especially if someone tries to make off with your PV – being able to pull up the identifying information would probably convince even the most suspicious constabulary.

The only con I have at the moment is how quickly it goes for naps – I haven’t found a way to extend the time before it goes to sleep due to inactivity. I have a tendency to go from chain vaping to letting it set while I do something and expect it to be ready when I come back… it is a good way to conserve battery power though and really it just my getting used to the new function.

Overall I’d have to call the eVic a real winner. I’ve just gotten to the bottom of my first tank on the Kamry X6 and they appear to like each other a bunch (sorry, nothin’ to do wit’ bananas monkey mama). If I can ever break this pair up, I’ll try some other attys!

Besides being well made, where else can you buy a mod that becomes a new mod with each update. This has such potential with the upgrades .Soon you will be able to customize what is displayed on the screen, set your own shutoff times, and like the new Janty thats coming soon, be able to customize your vaping voltage/wattage pattern on each draw. That is all I know at the moment but enough to make it a good investment for me. You can make it a mini by just buying a 18350 tube like the ones they sell for the Joye T mod [I think thats what it's called] and it's lite in the hand. etc. etc.

the evic is amazing , when i think about just how customizable it is and how much further it can go with tubes and software and updates, plus the looks of it, the feel and all the options it comes with plus it VW as well, i don't see how anything out as of yet comes close to offering what the evic does and the price, 100 bucks for all that, cmon, that is amazing., i just dont see it.

The only thing i can see that some more experienced users would complain about is that it goes only to 11watts and for the most part that is high enough but im pretty sure they can easily improve on that with new heads and the cost would be half because you would only need the head, all in all, the evic is a beast which is packed with options and never before seen features like the updating and much more.

To set the sleep time,go in the menu to the Configure setting. Go to system and set the time before sleep. I think you have an option of up to 60 min.
I know in the new version of software due out soon you will be able to config it to whatever you want including never going to sleep.

Do we know what this means? According to joyetech's website you (gotvapes) is an unathorized resller of the joye evic

http://www.joyetech.com/about/copycat.php?nation=US

I believe this has been discussed before, and since I don't recall having seen ya in here before, I'm gonna assume it's a basic and simple question with no additional motivation behind it ;)

We are considered unauthorized because we sell vision spinners. Actually, we sell more joyetech than most in US.

Yep, Joyetech's distributor notice is quite strict. It is NOT however like selling fakes. Things like selling for less than their MSRP, or bundling your own kit with Vision cartos instead of theirs can all land you in unauthorized territory.

Excellent - thanks CoyoteRed. I found it, but what version firmware are you using - I'm on v1.1.. I don't have a configure, just a standby I didn't push because I didn't want to go on standby... but there are the settings. Course, now that I think about it, there isn't a reason for sleep and standby buttons on the same menu.... duh.

In any case, thanks - it got me there!

I'm no suppliers associate, but I was under the impression it was due to "bundling" a non Joyetech product with a genuine Joyetech product and selling it as a "kit"

Which is insane and ludacris IMO. (the unauthorized part, that is)

At least joytech makes a distinction between unauthorized and copy cats. Though I think it would be more appropriate if they would apply a label that is more specific. But Joyetech has always been weird this way.
