joyetech eVic Vapor Intelligent Cigarette VV/VW Upgradeable
$139.95 $99.95 Special Intro First Two weeks!

Introducing the joyetech eVic! eVic stands for Vapor Intelligent Cigarette. The emphasis here is on INTELLIGENT:

  • You can UPDATE the FIRMWARE on this unit at ANYTIME. Presently the latest firmware is 1.1, already installed. You can connect your eVic through your USB port and check and update your firmware at anytime here --> Upgrade Your Firmware Here (actual links on the product page). On that page you will also see a link to a video demonstration on updating your software/firmware.
  • You can download and install MVR software, My Vapor Record. This is software which creates more or less a black box record of your vaping activity ---> Install MVR Software (actual link on the product page). On that page you will also see a link to a video demonstration on installing and Using MVR software.

The eVic of course accepts 510, eGo, eGo-T, eGo-C atomizers as well as tank systems such as SMOKtech DCT/UDCT, Vision Vivi Nova, Vision Mini Vivi Nova, Vision CE4 style clearomizers.

Some Features of the Joyetech eVic:
  • Voltage ranges from 3.0 to 5.0 and wattage ranges from 5 to 11 watts, both in .1 increments. You simply twist the control head ring right or left to adjust.
  • Features an easy to read menu system that you can access by clicking the power button five times. It is all fairly self explanatory. For instance. To switch from VV to VW:
  1. Press the power button five times rapidly, you will see a menu system.
  2. Twist the ring at the base of the control head to find the 'Vapor Set' setting. Then simply press the power button once to choose.
  3. Then you can do the same thing to choose between VV and VW on the next submenu.
  • The eVic measures roughly 4.8 inches long with head and 18650 battery tube and base of contril head at by .9 inches wide.
  • With 18650 battery installed this weighs in at 4 oz.
  • You can use most any of the Joyetech 18650 or shorty 18350 eGo-T Mod tubes and also the upcoming Anyvape.
  • Built in USB charging port, which also doubles as connection to your computer for the upgradeable system software and configuring the unit with the MyVaporRecord Software (see above).
  • Protected batteries will not fit on this so you must use the included Sanyo 2600mah IMR or any of our eFest 18650 IMR or Panasonic IMR batteries, flat or button top.
  • Please read the very thorough documentation as it covers some pretty spiffy features such as: the eVic will provide you with suggested wattage after it measures your atomizers resistance, it also feattures a .... display you can set and many other actually very useful features such as removable drip well cap for easy cleaning. Explore the eVic!

What You Receive with the Joyetech eVic Starter Kit:
  • 1 eVic electronic cigarette Control Head and 18650 Battery Tube
  • 1 Samsung 2600mAh 18650 battery
  • 1 USB charging and firmware update cable
  • 1 110 VAC USB wall adapter (for charging in wall outlet)
  • 1 Fully Illustrated User manual in various languages
  • 1 MyVaporRecord software instructions

I can't wait till firmware 1.2 (2.0) is out, should be before the holiday, & I hope the Mac OSX program release soon (prob same time frame) just so I can put my 'owner information' on my eVic
:vapor:
I have made a feature request with Joyetech some time ago to add a line so we can enter a phone number in case of loss.

Currently 10 chars max in the name field, so been placing my phone number there instead without dashes.

Hopefully they'll add that to the 1.2 firmware.

What would be ideal though (and not with this eVic model obviously which is not possible) is if you could phone your eVic II, it beeps and displays your phone number so you can be called back by the finder in the event of loss. Or have it show up on satellite map/RPG.

Or, a crying little girl's voice coming up asking "Where is my daddy?" if the device has been out of your possession for a preset span of time blinking your phone number.

Ok, Ok, I'm losing myself here now ... lol

That's what I would do too

won't ever happen

This, 'kinda' thing should be happening. Hook up APV to Phone using Bluetooth, when the pairing stops (devices are out of range from each other), both set off an alert

Can anyone here confirm that the Kanger T3s work we'll with the eVic (without an adapter)?
Phil Bursardo mentioned T3 contact problems with the eVic, and the eVic has a EGO connection for Kanger T3s and most other clearos.

At 2:16 ... one can pull the center pin down just a touch with needle-nose pliers to get the clearo to make contact:

Kanger T3 rebuild tutorial - YouTube

The T3 knock-off "Tabac BCC" doesn't have this issue.

Ok, guess MORE proof is needed?
My MT3 on my eVic, both from GotVapes

I think PB got a few messed up T3s from his other reviews on them.

as you see, it shows Atomizer detected when I screwed my MT3 onto the eVic
Nothing modified, haven't pushed or pulled any pins

PB mentioned some T3s not MT3s, as did yet another YouTube video which I can't find again.

Firmware update 1.2 just got released...

Thanks Zip. There is an option to set vape to manual or auto. I set it to 7 sec assuming that would ba the auto cutoff. It is not. If I just touch the button it automatically fires for seven seconds. Back to manual with that setting.
Another huge bug. At least for me. It will not see the device a second time. I have to reinstall MVR 1.2 every time.
Other than these two big screwups...I like.

Yes it is a beta but I had the same issue of having to keep reinstalling with the previous version. No biggie, only takes about 30 seconds to reinstall MVR.
On another note I LOVE the programmable firing feature they added. MVR VW instead of plain ol vanilla VW. I set mine at a higher wattage to start and then taper it down in steps. Very, very cool.
