Hi all,

I am a smoker, have been for 27 years, usually 1.5 - 2 packs a day. I have tried to quit
several times with length of quitting ranging from 0-9 months. I have recently ordered the Vapor King Ultimate Automatic Kit from V4L and I hope this will finally enable me to kick the nasty analogs (see, I pick up jargon quick).

I haven't received the unit yet and cannot hardly stand the anticipation.

Forgive me while I break out in song...
(Stop)
Oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman
(Wait)
Wait Mister Postman
I've been standin' here waitin' Mister Postman
So patiently
For just a card, or just a letter
Sayin' my e-cigs are returnin' home to me
[/silliness]
I have a question about the batteries. One of the models I was looking at said to not allow the battery to remain on the charger once it is charged or you can damage the battery. Is the Vapor King KR8 like this? I would not like that because I have a tendency to leave things on chargers overnight but if this is a concern I guess I will have to break myself of the habit (argh, another habit to break).

It was great finding this forum, there is so much good information here it boggles the mind.

Don't know about that specific model, but I leave my eGo batteries and my 510 batteries plugged in overnight all the time.....no problems at all. I do know that some of the info about batteries put out by the mfg. is "old" and doesn't apply. For instance, many of them say initial charge should be 8 hours and I have read many, many posts from techy people saying not necessary...I've found that to be true (not necessary. When the light turns green = good to go.) So......

I believe the brand in question was Blu. I was bouncing between those and GreenSmoke until I found this site and all the great information on it. I saw a video review of Blu and the guy said to remove the battery from the charger as soon as they are charged. I found that odd seeing almost everything that charges will stop the charging process once the batteries are at the correct voltage.

I figured it was some anomaly with that brand, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the replies.

Welcome to ECF and the wonderful world of vaping. I can't really answer your questions but I am sure someone will come along that uses that brand and be able to do it for you. You may have to join our Stalking the Mailman Support Group...lol.

Didn't realize that was a group, now I am intrigued...

Here and back
Hey Jag, welcome. Your chances of becoming a successful e cig smoker has increased dramatically since you've found this forum.

Don't call me, call the fire department if....you leave the batts on for an overnight charge. I have batts charging here there and everywhere, overnight, unattended and so far, no problems.

Good luck with your new equipment.

That's what's supposed to happen. Vast majority of the time, that's what does happen. If the charger is defective, or breaks, then you could have trouble.

Up to you how conservative you want to be in that regard.
